  • Jan is joined by Edit B Kiss a holistic mentor, success habit coach, #1 best selling author, Humanitarian Award winner and international speaker. She works with clients on releasing long-lasting pains, blockages, ancestor defects and emotional traumas so they could live fulfilled and joyful lives. Edit originally was a petroleum engineer, working in the petroleum industry for 15 years before being a life-coach full time. During those years she trained to become a Reiki Master, a Sekhem Healer and a Karma Yogi Practitioner under the teaching of Karma Guru Sumant Kaul; strengthened her extra senses; and worked on several family constellation therapies. She learned life-coaching from the Satori Prime brothers (who base their work on Landmark approaches) and was trained by Bob Proctor, who is known for his appearance as a featured expert in the movie, The Secret. Edit came to this work after years of suffering silently with panic attacks and realized that she needed a new approach to healing. She began her journey when she visited a Reiki Master and discovered that this was her path in life and trained to become a full time Holistic Mentor. Edit stresses the need to take time for meditation, mindfulness, and other self-care practices. Healing is a personal responsibility.

Kerry discovered Functional/Integrative medicine when a family member began having chronic digestive concerns. She quickly realized that this was the type of medicine that she would be excited to practice! Kerry was certified through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Kerry believes every patient has a story and through story sharing we gather details to map out the history and implement a plan for true healing. Her practice, Whisper Health, was created to offer patients a more holistic approach to healing/managing their chronic conditions

In today’s conversation, Jan and Kerry talk about the link between trauma and health. They discuss the importance of having a clinician who actively listens and validates patients at the initial step in the healing process. Kerry explains the impact of trauma on the mind, body, and spirit and shares insights into how she creates a healing plan with patients. The conversation stresses the significance of creating a holistic healing approach; advocating for the inclusion of other clinicians in the healing plan. Kerry explains how accessing the vagus nerve through simple techniques can promote relaxation and healing. Lastly, she introduces her upcoming program, the Get Your Sass Back Program, which focuses on empowering women with polycystic ovarian syndrome to reclaim their health.

  • We are starting a new series called β€œWord of the Month.” In this series Jan will pick one word for each month to focus on as a way to grow and challenge herself and her listeners. This month Jan is focusing on fearlessness. In this episode she openly discusses her own fear that stemmed from the brainwashing and sexual abuse she experienced as a tween/teen. She emphasizes that fearlessness does not mean eliminating all fear from our lives, but rather shifting our relationship with fear and learning to navigate it more effectively. Jan shares personal experiences and challenges listeners to practice fearlessness in various aspects of their lives, such as sharing their stories, standing up for themselves, and speaking out against injustice. She encourages listeners to cultivate courage, hope, and authenticity, and to choose hope over fear. In closing, Jan highlights the importance of living in the present moment and letting go of guilt and shame.

If you're on a journey to embrace fearlessness and want to share your experience with us, please send an email to [email protected]. Your story could be featured anonymously on an upcoming episode of our "Word of the Month" podcast.
