We know that The Chinese Communist Party loves to interfere in Canadian elections - we have discussed its influence with Canadian elections and candidates often in the past year. Its goal is to change Canadian decisions in its favour. Is it only a matter of time before we hear more evidence about how foreign agents tampered in this election? Will Mark Carney do anything to stop this from happening? Dean Baxendale is the CEO and President of Optimum Publishing - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

A cornerstone of the trade war with the United States has centred around the Auto Industry in Canada. Is it time for Canada to admit that this industry is leaving Canada? It seems that it stays afloat thanks to government subsidies - and we all remember the bailout packages in the last economic downturn. But are we able to replace all these manufacturing jobs? Catherine Swift is the President of the Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers and Businesses of Canada - she joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

We have a crisis in our healthcare system - so imagine an activist judge forcing the Province of Ontario to pay for a gender reassignment surgery in Texas that allows a person to keep their male organs and have female genitals added (somewhere)! All the while we have to suffer with waiting lists a mile long, and hallway medicine. Wait! There is more–the Ontario Government is trying to deal with gridlock and safety by removing underused, and misplaced bike lanes - only to be stopped by an activist judge. How about keeping street drug providers near schools! This is the insanity taking place in our democracy. Appointed judges are nullifying decisions made by duly-elected officials.

It is clear that both Trudeaus - Pierre and Justin - were good at one thing … alienating Western Canada. In his victory speech Mark Carney talked about how he was going to win back Western Canada. The Trudeau Liberals were hell bent on stopping and punishing anyone who wanted to stick a shovel in the ground to make Canada prosperous. Will we see an about face from Carney? Marc Kealey is a bigshot Liberal - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Now that we can take a moment to reflect on the election that recently passed, we need to ask the question - Is there a bright future for the Conservative party? This is the party that has now lost four elections in a row… and in the most recent one, blowing a 25 point lead in the polls! Is this just the Trump factor? Or are the Conservatives out of touch with the majority of Canadians? John Capobianco is a bigshot Conservative - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

The results are in - We’re in for more Liberal Governance!!!! How did this happen when we were looking at a Conservative Party that had a 25 point lead in the polls? Is it enough that former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admitted that he was the problem and exited the stage? This new Liberal Government is made up of largely the same people who were surrounding Justin Trudeau. Marc Kealey is a bigshot Liberal - he sits down with Stephen LeDrew to talk about how the Liberals came back from oblivion.

The election results were a great disappointment to the Conservative party who mere months ago had a 25 point lead over the Justin Trudeau Liberals. How do you blow a 25 point lead … and remain leader of the party? Yes - the Conservatives are sending more MP’s to Ottawa - but is this electoral loss an indictment on how unlikeable Pierre Poilievre is as a leader? Or how people generally feel about the party? John Capobianco is a bigshot Conservative - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Everyone is cheering that the price of gas has taken a big drop with the PAUSE on the carbon tax. And while Carney is talking about the consumer carbon tax being gone - he is talking about leaving the industrial carbon tax intact. If industry ends up paying more for pollution - who do you think is going to pay for it? Dan McTeague is a former Liberal MP - and energy industry expert - and he knows exactly how this is going to make your life more expensive. He joins Stephen LeDrew to discuss this for Three Minutes.

We are seeing the polls starting to shift - and in a few ridings blue is starting to poke through. Should the Liberals be worried? We have had many expert voices on this show talk about how important it is that we get a change in Ottawa by electing PIerre Poilievre. Others declare that Mark Carney IS change - but is he not just another Trudeau disciple surrounded by the unpopular former Prime Minister’s cronies? Andrew Perez is a Liberal strategist - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

It looks like the Conservatives have been spending a lot of time fluffing their pillows in ridings where they are likely to be elected anyways. Will this pay off for them? Or should they be spending more time in Ontario and Quebec if they have any hope in forming the Government! Michael Diamond is the president of Upstream Strategies - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Pierre Poilievre has dropped in the polls. Some say that he is just not likeable. He is facing criticism for being very angry for years … but if you had to face Justin Trudeau wouldn’t you be angry too? So - Do the Conservatives need to pivot better? Shouldn’t you be more nimble as the leader of a party? Peter Shurman is a Freelance Broadcaster, and former Politician - he joins Stephen LeDrew to discuss this for Three Minutes.

What is the deal with Mark Carney and China - Canada is ripe for foreign interference now that foreign actors know they can operate with impunity in this country. Why does China want Mark Carney to be our Prime Minister? Mark Carney has worked in each and every one of his jobs- Brookfield, England, and Canada - to do business with China. Shouldn’t Carney read the memo that the Communist Party of China is not our friend? Brian Lilley is a columnist with the Toronto Sun - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

We have seen some movement towards the Tories in the polls - but the Liberals are still flying high in the numbers. Behind the scenes we are hearing of Liberals acting as though they have already won the election. Many Poilievre supporters are convinced that the polls are not correct - and point to the huge numbers attending rallies in support of the Conservative. Dan McTeague is a former Liberal MP - and he has his own thoughts on how this election might go. He joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

We are heading into an election unlike anything we have ever seen before - The external factors from people like Donald Trump are going to weigh heavier than in any election in recent history. Things have been unpredictable - and changing quickly - even the unpopular Justin Trudeau saw a bump in his polling numbers before exiting the office. Andrew Enns is Executive Vice President with Leger Polling - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Canada is backed into a corner, being forced to react to Donald Trump’s tariffs. Every ‘expert’ is running around talking about the best way to respond to this current situation, with most talking about “fighting” Trump. But how did things get so bad that our economy is so dependent on the USA? American workers produce $22,100 U.S. more goods annually per worker than Canadians - and this is thanks to the lack of investment - and a lack of political will to have Canada build an economy not so dependent on the U.S. John Turley Ewart is a contributing columnist with The Globe and Mail, and a Banking Consultant - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

The Liberal Campaign and Policies are being dictated by Justin Trudeau’s team. For a country that was fed up with Trudeau, we seem to be in a hurry to elect Mark Carney. And Pierre Poilievre is portrayed by certain media as unlikeable… How did we get here? Are Canadians being wilfully blind because the media isn’t giving Poilievre a fair shake? Can the Conservatives do anything to gain a lead in this campaign? Brian Lilley is a columnist with the Toronto Sun - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

AI has become a widely-used powerful mainstream tool. Even this show will occasionally use AI as an assist with sound quality! But what is AI capable of? Shouldn’t we be very cautious with it? Dave Signoretti is the owner of Xstrat - a company specializing in Artificial Intelligence in the medical realm. As much as AI can be a tool for good - it can also be a tool for evil. There is a new book out called ‘Ripper’ - it is very critical of Pierre Poilievre. It appears to have been rushed out as it is rife with typos and spelling mistakes. Liberal pundits are conducting cheap attempts at character assassination on Poilievre at every opportunity. What can be done to right the ship and gain some momentum back in this Conservative engine that at one point saw a record number of members bring Poilievre to power. Robin Bredin is an Author and smart guy - he has some passionate views on this topic - and he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.
