The Life and Times of The Osborne Man

The love letters home of a travelling salesman, John Adonirom Briggs. Through WWI, Prohibition,the Suffragist Movement and The Great Depression, John wrote home, to his beloved wife in a small town in rural New York State, several times of week, worried about paying the bills, the animals on his farm, the goings on at his church and the trials and success of his four children. The family struggles with jobs, love, death and divorce, all with the background of the roaring 20s and beyond. In just 3 minutes a day, travel back with me to the daily life of a middle class family in the early 20th Century.
