Dolly Safran has worked as a limo driver, assistant manager at Wendyâs, a zookeeper, a bus driver, a security guard, a nurse, and more, including as a civilian worker for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and also in the Army as an employee for the U.S. Department of Defense. Her UFO contacts began around age one, and are still ongoing today. Chris is an active UFO researcher who investigates classic and select current UFO incidents that have occurred in Atlantic Canada. He holds to a âblendedâ view of the UFO phenomena, that allows room for both the ETH & a significant psychological component. He is best known for his work on the 1967 Shag Harbour Incident and has presented at several MUFON symposia in both Canada and the US.
Chris served as a paid technical advisor with several Canadian UFO feature documentaries such as Ocean Entertainmentâs âThe Shag Harbour Incidentâ and âNorthern Lightsâ. He has appeared in several US, UFO specials, such as âCanadaâs Roswellâ and âUFOs II, Have We Been Visited?â In 2019 Styles appeared in an episode of âOcean Mysteriesâ with Celine & Fabien Cousteau. He has been on pretty much all the major UFO podcasts such as Coast-to-Coast and more.
Chris is the co-author of two UFO books on the Shag Harbour Incident, âDark Objectâ (Dell Bantam) with Don Ledger & âImpact to Contactâ (Arcadia House) with Graham Simms. His most recent book is âSweep Clear 5: NATOâs UFO Encounterâ, which is available from Amazon Press.

Tonight, The Light Gate is honoured and delighted to welcome researcher and author, Michael Cremo to the show. He is one of the most amazing researcherers on this planet!
Born in 1948, Michael knew from a very early age (after spelling out words in his alphabet soupâ that he wanted to be a writer. As he says, "From the very beginning, my life has been a spiritual quest for love and truth. My father served as an American Intelligence Officer for the United States Air Force, and from that time my life was one of periodic change and travel. I went to high school at an American school in Germany and spent my vacations traveling all over Europe. Once, in the spring of 1965, in a youth hostel in Stockholm, I met some kids who had been to India and back, traveling overland. I decided I would someday do the same thing.â
He became interested in Eastern philosophy and Indian esoteric teachings , and studied the Bhagavad-gita.â By 1980, he had established himself as a writer, and since then his many books have sold more than 10 million copies and have been translated into many languages.
His first book, âForbidden Archaeology: the Hidden History of the Human Race,â was a landmark book challenging the mainstream paradigm of archeology and showing that humankind is tens of thousands of years old, but millions.
As Michael writes, âThis book shows that archaeologists and anthropologists, over the past one hundred and fifty years, have accumulated vast amounts of evidence showing that humans like ourselves have existed on this planet for tens of millions of years. We show how this evidence has been suppressed, ignored, and forgotten because it contradicts generally-held ideas about human evolution."

Dave is the creator and host of Canadaâs âSpaced Out Radio,â running Monday through Friday nights at spacedoutradio.com. A former radio journalist, Dave graduated with a diploma in Broadcast Communications from one of Canadaâs top Broadcasting Schools, BCIT, in 1998.
Dave then spent nearly 10 years in radio, mostly working in sports, before leaving the field to pursue other interests. Daveâs personal quest into the unknown started in December of 2011, when he had contact from what he calls The Angel of Death, that he saw in his motherâs eyes, which led to his first channeling experience.
After this incident, Daveâs personal experiences started becoming more frequent. Paranormal experiences and premonitions started coming true. Preston Dennett began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena. He is a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of 30 books and more than 100 articles on UFOs and the paranormal. Several of his books have been Amazon UFO bestsellers. His articles have appeared in numerous magazines including Fate, Atlantis Rising, MUFON UFO Journal, Nexus, Paranormal Magazine, UFO Magazine, Phenomena Magazine, Mysteries Magazine, Ufologist and others. His writing has been translated into several different languages including German, French, Portuguese, Russian, and Icelandic. He has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, including Midnight in the Desert with Art Bell, Coast-to-Coast and also the History Channelâs Deep Sea UFOs and UFO Hunters and Ancient Aliens. His research has been presented in the LA Times, the LA Daily News, the Dallas Morning News and other newspapers. He has taught classes on various paranormal subjects and lectures across the United States.
Dolly Safran has worked as a limo driver, assistant manager at Wendyâs, a zookeeper, a bus driver, a security guard, a nurse, and more, including as a civilian worker for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and also in the Army as an employee for the U.S. Department of Defense. Her UFO contacts began around age one, and are still ongoing today. She is a fully conscious UFO contactee and the subject of the full-length book, âSymmetry: A True UFO Adventure.â Sequel coming soon!

Tonight, The Light Gate welcomes UFO experiencer/author Yossi Ronen. Currently, Yossi is living in Israel. He had a face-to-face encounter and communication with several aliens who appeared in his room when he lived about a year in 1981 in Los Angeles. The experience led his life on a new path. His interests have changed to independent search and learning in areas related to the encounter experience phenomena.
For two years he has written articles in Alternative magazine in Israel, articles directly or indirectly related to UFO and contact or meeting the visitors, such as alternative medicine, currents in mysticism, parapsychology, oneness/God, and the Ancient secret Hebrew language.
His book âONE,â is a summary of about 40 years of study and research in the world of spirit, cognition, culture, and the human spirit in the face of the contact and to the information he received in the face-to-face contact with the visitors. Tonight, The Light Gate welcomes back UFO researcher/author, Chris Styles. Chris is an active UFO researcher who investigates classic and select current UFO incidents that have occurred in Atlantic Canada. He holds to a âblendedâ view of the UFO phenomena, that allows room for both the ETH & a significant psychological component.
He is best known for his work on the 1967 Shag Harbour Incident and has presented at several MUFON symposia in both Canada and the US. Chris served as a paid technical advisor with several Canadian UFO feature documentaries such as Ocean Entertainmentâs âThe Shag Harbour Incidentâ and âNorthern Lightsâ. He has appeared in several US, UFO specials, such as âCanadaâs Roswellâ and âUFOs II, Have We Been Visited?â
In 2019 Styles appeared in an episode of âOcean Mysteriesâ with Celine & Fabien Cousteau. He has been on pretty much all the major UFO podcasts such as Coast-to-Coast and more. Chris is the co-author of two UFO books on the Shag Harbour Incident, âDark Objectâ (Dell Bantam) with Don Ledger & âImpact to Contactâ (Arcadia House) with Graham Simms.
His most recent book is âSweep Clear 5: NATOâs UFO Encounterâ, which is available from Amazon Press. In 2023 MUFON Canada presented Chris with an honorary membership in recognition of his lifetime achievement in Ufology.
