In the final episode of this first series, the neighbours emerge from the theatre to face the Mims. Its a test for the apprentices who must take control of the situation before anyone else gets hurt.
Ruby and Gavin each make separate discoveries that help explain what's been going on. What will they or, rather, can they do about it though?

The wind is relentless, storming about outside the houses in Lower Leigh. The neighbours are still up as the night ticks by, murmuring away into the early hours, they put forward their theories to one another, each idea more unlikely than the last. Some hope that the glimmering low light really does hold a magic that will keep them safe in the end, some are determined to cut through to cold reality and find the dark heart of the neighbourhood and its history, obscured as it is by selective memory and hope for a better future. And then, there is the strange man in his big cat car, prowling about. There is regret and the hollow pain of past betrayal. There is new romance. All in all, its a cauldron of a night, swirling and bubbling as we approach Eric's deadline of Mim-mayhem.

The apprentices begin to explore their talents after Elle vanquishes the vermin. Ruby witnesses the magic, or is it all trickery? She's determined to find out. Eric is put under pressure to reveal more than he wants to...is he hiding something? The wind blows us through Lower Leigh as the neighbours battle with their consciences and their memories. So much for the curfew, those streets aren't as quiet as you'd think...

With Piggy pegged, the neighbour comrades discuss a plan to get the Mims back under control. Eric doesn't want to play but when Ruby gets involved they learn much more about what might be going on. Meanwhile there's an outbreak of misery in the area and several neighbours find themselves at the mercy of the Mims and their bizarre activity. With only 24 hours to go until the Mims really let loose, will the neighbours work out what on earth is going on?

There's a reunion at the police station. Ruby returns to Lower Leigh to follow up on her suspicions and Gavin begins a search for more information. Preparations are stepping up at the church and Eric continues to hide away from the ever-rising tide of Mim activity which is getting so lively that something is going to go wrong at some point, you can just feel it in the warming air.

Worried about the level of Mim activity in the neighbourhood, Gavin decides to take action. Shirley is brought face-to-face with her childhood and Charity is running from the police. Join the neighbours in their quest to find Padma's heir and stop the old stories causing havoc.

Tuesday morning dawns and the fog is menacing in its grip of the neighbourhood. The police are on the hunt for Charity, Louis tries to make things better with Sarah, Sally comes to a difficult decision. And there are more Mims on the loose as they realise that Padma isn't coming back...will Eric do anything about it? Or will he watch TV all day instead...

Strange things are afoot in Shirley's house as the fog swirls over the snow-covered cul-de-sac. Gavin and Shirley discuss the day's events and try to decide whether Eric's prophecies will become reality and Kat makes a difficult phone call. Only Panko and Reg seem to sense that the Mims are beginning to get jiggy with it until there's a bang on the front door...

Tanya and Charity meet after they both attend the planning meeting for Padma's celebration. Accusations are made and warnings are given, driving charity away to contemplate her mistakes. The dark track is waiting for her and the Mims are unsettled as the cold day draws to a close. Eric and Gavin investigate the extent of the damage so far...

The snow lies deep in Lower Leigh as the neighbours gather to discuss a celebration of Padma's life at the local theatre. Charity is there, despite having agreed to meet Tanya at High Noon. Louis brings news to the gathering and Eric takes to the stage for the first time in two years to expand on the story he began the night before. This time, the crows are listening and the wind waits impatiently.

This week Lower Leigh is blanketed in snow as dark forces gather.
The neighbours discuss a celebration for Padma, the police continue their enquiries and Eric tries (again) to explain the significance of Padma's death. Kat makes a confession about Henry.

The neighbours gather in the pub to discuss events. Tanya feels she must act and gives Lance an ultimatum.
The friends rush to support Eric in his grief. After many years silence, Eric tells the story of his and Padma's transformation. There's a glimmering in the air and in the lantern room.
The fox runs through cold streets, becoming snowy in the low light.

The neighbours reel in shock as the police arrive to ask questions and Eric begins to realise the implications of what has happened. One girl runs away, another keeps quiet. Decisions are made.
