This is the first Iced Earth review by Adam and Orion and is only fitting as each track delves into the classic movie monsters Wolfman, Dracula, Mummy, Frankenstein and more! This album sees the band stay mostly locked in to their power metal roots with bombastic vocals from Matt Barlow and tight riffs from Jon Schaffer. Come join us as we get festive with spooky season!

The metal journey continues as The Metal Oasis ventures back into the world of sentient AI with Phantoma by Unleash the Archers! This is the 3rd album the boys have reviewed in preparing for seeing the band for the first time. With Ph4/NT0mA we see the band exploring the world of the titular character as an Artificial Intelligence awakens, discovers others like her and ultimately seeks vengeance upon those who have tried to shackle her into subservience. This week Adam, Orion and Scholze recall their boys trip away to Charlotte, NC to see the mighty Judas Priest and Sabaton on the Invincible Shield Tour! Like normal, we're breaking down the pre-and-post show shenanigans and go song by song in the setlists. This tour sees Sabaton command the stage in full snow camo regalia and epic choruses, while Judas Priest shows why they are in the pantheon of the metal elite. It is amazing how Rob Halford, at a young 72 years old, can still belt out the classics and embody his metal god moniker, fully adorned with the crown of horns. Join us as we continue our metal journey into seeing two heavy metal/power metal giants touring the states armed with tanks and sentinels!
