Welcome to another episode of the Nashville dads! On this episode we have on City Council Member Mike Cortese.
This was one of those conversations where we kind of immediately jumped into big topics and discussions. We talked about Mike’s upbringing in a broken home, being raised by community, teaching at Belmont, going through 5 miscarriages and IVF, and why he ran for city council.
One thing we talked a lot about in this episode is when you have a kid you have to realize that a lot of the ways you react to things might have more anger to it then you realized and you have to figure out ways to be kinder to yourself and other people. Mike was really open about discussing that part of his journey and we appreciate his openness!
