Todayâs guest is Futurist Steve McDonald, host of the Future Sense Podcast. Steve is someone with a deep interest in human nature and the ongoing evolution of human consciousness. For most of his life, Steve has been helping people cope with significant change. Over time his focus has expanded to include the deep patterns within us that shape our perceptions, our values and behaviours.
In this episode we discuss the work of Clare W Graves which Steve has been studying since 2003. It is a model of human development which includes predictive patterns that offer insights into our future.

This episode acts as an introduction to the Ojas Podcast. An opportunity for me to share a little bit of my story, my intentions for this soundwave space, and to share about the life giving qualities of Ojas.
Tips on Building Ojas:
Eat foods that are organic and locally grown. More vegetables, grains, lentils. Ojas building foods and herbs are what we call in ayurveda âbuildingâ foods meaning that they are heavy and help us to build ojas. If youâre currently carrying a toxic load, or ama, it will be very very helpful to begin your ayurvedic journey with a gentle cleanse. Journal Entry on Ayurvedic Detox . Rasayana foods: dates, almonds, raw cows milk, sweet potato, avocados, honey. Rasayana herbs: Amla, shatavari, triphala, chywanprash Devotion: be wildly devoted to something bigger than you. Work on your stuff. Nothing drains you of ojas more than being stuck in spirals in your brain. Donât give it your all. Exercise, to 50% capacity. Doing too much depleted Ojas.Connect with me:
