It's so easy in today's world to look at everyone else around you (and online), thinking that they've got it all figured out. Well - TRUTH TALK - they don't. And neither do we! Each week, your hosts Emma + Andrea Each will bring you candid conversations on everything from love, friendships, motherhood, business and more! And even better? THEY'RE SISTERS! And friends, which is an added bonus! Have you ever found yourself covered in throw up? Standing in the middle of a store with screaming toddlers? Bullied by another woman? Or simply feeling like there's never enough hours in the day? Yeah, us too. With 5 kids between the two of us, we simply want to shed more light on the TRUTH about what it’s really like to wear all the hats and somehow keep the kids alive... and our marriages!

Working and having a family is hard. But what is really fatiguing is that it is only mothers that pay a penalty when they become parents. It is only mothers that pay an up to 60% salary penalty over the first five years of establishing their family. Only mothers that see their retirement savings penalised because of the caregiving requirements they are fulfilling. And only mothers that get sidelined in their careers because of the lack of quality part time roles.
In this podcast we are going to get curious about the system that creates the motherhood penalty and curious about the solutions that are going to smash it. We will talk to some of the experts who are actively smashing it, find out their story and figure out what we can learn from them. Hosted by Emma Mclean, CEO & Founder of Works for Everyone, this is a punchy, practical, and peppered with laughter podcast that equips listeners with ideas they can take back to their homes and workplaces to help smash the motherhood penalty. -
A podcast for dog lovers, dog trainers and dog nerds. I’m Ian Shivers, a behaviour consultant, mentor to other dog professionals, podcaster and all round animal geek.
You can find me in Sydney where I run Bondi Behaviourist, a training company that works city wide, Canine C.A.R.E.givers, an online platform for dog owners to learn about training and behaviour, and Mutley, an all in one platform and community with the goal of supporting the amazing professionals in our industry. For some insane reason, as if I wasn’t busy enough I set up this podcast too, in which I’ll dive into a dog topic and unpack it.
I hope you enjoy the show. -
