Untethered. Alone. Burdened. Overwhelmed. Yearning. When times get difficult, when we hit our lowest, sometimes we don't even know what to do or say. Somewhere along the way, we forget that we are not meant to carry our burdens alone. We forget that we have someone who can relieve us of our burdens. Sometimes, we lose sight of how to (re)connect with God. In this week's episode of the Purpose in Purity podcast, guest Micah Maddox and I discuss five ways in which we can experience God.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him" (James 1:5, ESV). -
Hey, guys! Thanks for joining me again in another episode of the Purpose in Purity Podcast. This week is a little different as I announce my intention to shift my focus in life. As my family and I are moving more intently toward becoming a missionary family in Japan, I can no longer devote what I feel is an adequate amount of attention to you all in our support group. But I'd never leave you hanging! Here in this episode I've asked Joy Skarka, a long-time friend and the Director of Discipleship for Authentic Intimacy, to come and tell us about her ministry and the support groups offered therein.
Accountability has always gone hand-in-hand with having a good support system. At Authentic Intimacy, Joy and other mentors strive to create a safe place where women can talk about sexuality from a biblical perspective. Join us as we discuss what all is offered at Authentic Intimacy and how you can benefit from becoming a member!

This episode of the Purpose in Purity Podcast deals with a topic many of you wished to hear about: turning to lustful habits to find a quick relief or escape from stress and/or anxiety. How do I deal with this from a biblical perspective? What are healthy ways to cope with the burden of stress or bouts of anxiety? Join Dr. Monique Gadson and I as we jumpstart the conversation on stress, anxiety, and healthy coping mechanisms that can point us (back) to God.

But how do you build deep, meaningful relationships with others during a pandemic? What are some steps you can take to get out there and start forming these relationships? Tune into this podcast with my good friend, Justine, as we discuss building community as a single woman in the midst of a pandemic.
