We have hit the dog days of summer, but the recruiting news never stops, especially with Mario and this staff! Cam gives us all of the latest news on the class of 2027, and we look ahead to the class of 2028.
The Beast wants to know why a player in the state of Florida would choose any school other than Miami.
FSU has it tough right now. We aren't upset.
Segment two brings us to a poignant question: If Miami can negotiate well, and the financials make sense, should the Canes stay in the ACC simply because the road to the playoff might be easier than in the B1G or SEC?

Miami's Baseball season ended in embarrassing fashion, giving up over 30 runs in 24 hours. There needs to be a change in direction and vision for the baseball program in Coral Gables.

On this wonderful edition of the ROCPOD, Cam and The Beast give you the lowdown on the Mark Matthews saga as the St. Thomas Aquinas OT decided to head to College Station instead of Coral Gables. But, all is not lost, the Canes flipped another one (DJ Khaled Voice) as Mario and the staff refuse to Duck away from the competition (see what we did there).
There is some football scheduling news that we think works out to Miami's favor.
The Canes' baseball team has come to the end of the regular season after losing two of three to Florida State. Pitching and defense continue to haunt this team, and it doesn't bode well for a postseason run, but anything can happen.
Finally, we dive into the prospects of a 24-team playoff. Would it diminish the regular season? Will these kids be playing into March? Mario doesn't like it. Do we?

Times are changing at The U. We found out last week that Dan Radakovich would be stepping down as the Director of Athletics.
We invited the great Michelle Kaufman on the show to talk about why Dan is stepping down, what he accomplished at The U, and what's next.
As for what's next, The Beast did some reporting this week to figure out what The U might be looking for in a new AD. Is it truly Michael Yorkmark's job? Why do people not like Michael Yormark? What's the connection between Yormark and The U (it goes beyond his daughter being a Sunsation)?
