Mike and Elliott returned after an unscheduled week off to discuss a whole bag of news and rumours - Where is Corne Beets? What can we garner from the latest set of accounts? How sh*t is the latest franchise idea being banded about? We also look ahead to a Premiership Cup match at Nottingham, which will hopefully see the boys regain some momentum ahead of the Premiership restart.
-
Mike and Elliott are joined by new signing and former Cov star Will Wand to discuss outside centre skills, the step up from champ to premiership rugby, and tedious name puns. Plus we pull apart a disappointing display away at Franklins Gardens before looking ahead to bouncing back against Coventry at the weekend.

Mike and Elliott enjoy another unnecessarily tense victory, but also savour the rare taste of a win at Saracens', which comes of a side of sitting pretty second in the league. We also look ahead to seeing some emerging talent take centre stage in the Premiership Cup and drop in a new, very basic feature for sh*ts and giggles.
-
With Mike flying back to Australia, the squad depth is again utilised as Iain Morton joins off the bench as we look over a nervy win over Gloucester, discuss possible signings as we enter Transfer season and are joined by Barry Pain of the Fezcast podcast, as we look ahead to an intriguing rumble in North London as Tigers travel to Saracens.
-
Mike and Elliott jump headfirst into a packed podcast which pulls apart the Derby Day triumph over Northampton Saints, revels in the new bruising yet confrontational style which is brewing, and look ahead to the Slater Cup against an unpredictable Gloucester side. Plus, Mike gets overly excited about a new nickname duet he's coined and wants to trademark.
-
Mike and Elliott seethe over the rank injustice of another RFU ban for a Tigers employee, and struggle to contain themselves at what the apparent standard for "disrespect" is. We also review a comfortable win over Newcastle, asking ourselves how much we can really take from it, before looking ahead to another bruising derby day.
-
Mike rejoins the pod from Australia as he and Elliott spew about a revolting injustice at the hands of the RFU, in the form of a significant ban for Kata. We also pull apart the narrow loss to Bath, ruing what could have been but getting excited about what perhaps is to come against Newcastle next weekend.
-
With Mike travelling to his new life in Australia, the podcast is steered (temporarily) by a new Captain in Elliott, with Jess Bunyard joining to assist. There's an interview with Tigers legend Ben Kay, as well as big dog Charlie Morgan from The Telegraph joining to dissect an amazing last minute win down in Exeter. We also look ahead to a tasty home fixture against old rivals Bath.
-
Mike and Elliott rip through a punchy podcast to look ahead to an intriguing season opener against the Exeter Chiefs and wonder why on earth nobody is banging the drum for an Anglo-Welsh league.
-
With Elliott away with his feet up, Tigers superfan Iain Morton joins Mike in the metaphorical sofa to discuss the promising signs against the Scarlets in Tigers' pre-season game and the concerning implications of a new EPS Agreement with England...
-
Mike and Elliott have the privilege of being joined by Tigers legend Martin Corry to chat about long lunches, glory years and young talent, whilst separately casting an eye over what the first pre-season game against Nottingham promised for the season ahead and looking at what we want to see next up against the Scarlets.
-
Mike and Elliott behold a magnificent new European jersey, get excited about Fijian international Ben Volavola popping up and make idiots of themselves by predicting how the rest of the Premiership will fare this year. Do not use our guesswork as gambling advice. Even more hopeless than our league predictions are our stabs at what the Tigers XV will look like ahead of the season-opening friendly against Nottingham on Friday night...
-
Mike and Elliott herald in a new season with some cautious optimism (having learned their lesson from indulging in the full-blown variety). We look at what Cheika will do differently to McKellar, what we can look forward to seeing on the field and list our predictions for the upcoming season. Plus, Mike drops a bombshell...
-
Mike and Elliott fire up the dreaded "emergency podcast" klaxon and awake from their peacefully chaotic summer slumbers to react to the stunning news that Dan McKellar has left the Tigers "by mutual consent". We look at whether or not it's the right call, the bizarre timing of the announcement and who is likely to step into the breach. Plus we chat through new signings, new coaches and new threads, just to keep things light.
-
Mike and Elliott are joined by Radio Leicester's Adam Whitty and the LTW Fancast's Jacob Bassford to wrap up a complicated and ultimately disappointing season for the Tigers. What went wrong? Can it be fixed? And by how many points will we top the league next year?! Warning: may involve deluded optimism.
-
Mike and Elliott enjoy a meaningless-yet-important win in the final game of the season for Tigers, one that hopefully points at brighter days to enjoy come September. We pay a tearful tribute to some departing legends and assess what the performance says about the way the team wants to play.
-
Mike and Elliott endure a review of yet another loss as the wheels sadly come off for this season, but as always we try to find some rational reasons as to why and find some positives...even if it looks like they will only be in play next season. We look forward to a last hurrah for some club icons who will sadly be leaving the club after facing Exeter Chiefs, and then dust off the hot sauce bottle for a transfer rumour that should leave a hint of a smile on your face.
-
Mike and Elliott enjoy the positivity brought to the club by a youthful Tigers XV as they put away an experienced Georgia Black Lion side in an exhibition game and ask the key questions - who is the star of the future, if not now, and whose morale can they damage with another bad nickname? We also look forward to the dreaded Sale away fixture, which has rarely been a happy hunting ground - but surely that has to change soon?
-
We were toying with the title "we hate rugby" given the sickening feeling of throwing away a 19 point lead against Bristol, but thankfully Leicester legend Richard Cockerill stops by to tell us all about his Georgian rugby project with the national side and their franchise, Black Lion, as they come to town for a friendly on Friday night. We do of course delve into the gutting defeat at the weekend, but as always we try to find some positives and Elliott reveals some of the discussions at the open forum with Dan McKellar and Richard Wilks.
-
Mike and Elliott drag themselves in front of the mic to chat about a crushing loss away at Northampton, a defeat that may spell the end of Tigers' playoff hopes. As always, we try to find some reason and some positives in the performance, before picking ourselves back up to have a chat to old mate Joe Heyes and to get behind the boys ahead of a tasty fixture at Welford Road against a red-hot Bears side.
