When Diana : Her True Story - In Her Own Words was published, it was explosive. It rocked "The Firm" to its core and forever changed the way the world viewed the monarchy.
Never before had a senior royal spoken so candidly - so raw and unfiltered - about her marriage, her hopes and fears, and her extraordinary life inside the House of Windsor.
An icon in life and a legend in death, Princess Diana continues to captivate. Now, in a Book Club special, more than twenty-five years later, author Andrew Morton sits down with Kate Thornton to reveal the incredible lengths he went to in writing the book; and the extraordinary efforts the establishment made to shut it down.
They are joined by Richard Kay, now the Daily Mail’s Editor-at-Large, and royal biographer Ingrid Seward to shed light on this pivotal moment in royal history.
