Sonja describes herself as a passionate rookie in the endurance world, but we would argue that she's well beyond rookie status after winning the infamous New Zealand Coast 2 Coast 2-day Individual race earlier this year. Sonja goes into great detail sharing her deep-seated fears around water and how she has worked to overcome them in the last few years through triathlon and multisport training and racing. This show covers an array of hugely important topics such as anxiety, imposter syndrome, RED-S, injury setbacks, positive self-talk, goal setting and the importance of coach-athlete relationships. Sonja is vulnerable and highly relatable to many of us out there chasing our own big scary goals.
This show is hosted by IFE Coaches, Steph Humphyrey and Zoë Van Mil Potaka.

Nicky joined the InnerFight community through Ladies Run Club in August 2023. She was on a quest to meet some like-minded ladies and rekindle her joy for running through the weekly sessions. Having not raced since pre covid, racing was certainly not on her agenda. That all changed once she started attending local races with the sole objective of having fun. Gradually Nicky built her way back up the distances and completed the Milan Marathon in April with InnerFight Endurance on Tour. Nicky has a great love for life and provides us with some excellent reminders for both training and racing.
