LinkedIn video is slowly dying.
Okay – well the video isn’t – but the old way of doing video on LinkedIn (is dying).
If you’ve seen my previous video, you know that the algorithm is changing – which means, the way that we do things is going to change as well. But don’t worry, video is still king on LinkedIn.
But with more players in the game, it takes more to stand out. Content that performs well will have to have a new look, or feel to it that everyone will be racing to figure out first.
In this week’s episode, I cover this new shift in LinkedIn video content, what you can expect and what you should be doing to take advantage of this change.

LinkedIn has once again made some big changes to their platform..
For over a year now, the long-awaiting “video feed” seems to finally be coming to fruition as LinkedIn makes the move towards short(er) content. With Tik Tok, YouTube Shorts and this new trend towards attention deficits, LinkedIn has become the most recent convert to the run-and-gun style content.
The difference?
They’re making it easier to consume and distribute – and my theory? Video performs better with the new algorithm too.
Join me on this short video as I take you through the changes and illustrate the great opportunity that creators have right now.

You’ve heard me talk about the ‘holy grail’ before – making money from podcasting.
For most, it’s advertisements and sponsorships that come to mind. But there’s another method of making money from podcasting: charging your guests.
Now it’s not common – and it’s (for sure) controversial as a media practice. So much so, that it is now being regulated by the FTC.
Whether this is how you want to make your bones in the podcast game – I break down the pros, cons – ins and outs of this guest/revenue philosophy.

It’s the red-headed step child of video.. The livestream.
Whether it’s because people don’t think it’s professional, don’t take it seriously, whatever – doing ‘live’ content has always been tricky for founders, CEOS and really, creators in general. It seems to have a certain flavor to it – but the good news is that it’s changing, especially on LinkedIn.
In this week’s short video I explore the live vs. pre-recorded split and reflect on my own experimentation with live content.
Is this a passing fad that will fade once the algorithm changes, or is this trend here to stay?
Let’s dive in.

Virality–it’s what’s for dinner.
Everyone and their mother has been trying to figure out how to go “viral” since the advent of YouTube and social media.
But here’s the thing: not all viral content is created equal, especially on social media.
In this week’s episode, I take you through what content you should be creating for your business or personal brand on LinkedIn and how to make content that is “viral” in the context of professionals, owners and decision makers that occupy your network.
Additionally, I circle back to funnels and how you should be positioned at each level.
