Bill Payne is an American Pianist and co founder of the band LIttle Feat, @LittleFeatArchive
He is also a very talented writer and has a book about his life in music coming soon. The band was recently nominated for a @RecordingAcademy GRAMMY for their album Sam's Place.
Here is some words from Bill from his website:
These are tough times, heartbreaking and dangerous.
My prayer is for peace. My prayer is for compassion to those in need.
The arts are invaluable to our sense of humanity and our compass to tolerance and understanding.
Without them we are lost.
My foundation as an artist is the belief in:
... the nobleness of the arts and our effort as artists...writers...teachers...conveyors of thought, is to be mindful of the challenge and the importance of what we do. The essence of our efforts, I believe, is to illuminate the path of a measured truth, and to reflect and mirror that truth through the veil of our craft, taking aim at ourselves, our society, our world, with utmost respect to the awe and mystery of life, and with the essential focus on what was, what is, and perhaps most importantly, what might be.

American Soul is a fitting brand for Mark Joseph; since his 2017 album by that name, he has charted a relentless and soulful course through America, and Americana, from blues to country to psychedelic rock and everything in between. This man is as authentically American as you would want, and as heartfelt and passionate as you can get. Joseph dings all the bells on any given night, indeed darn near every night, chalking up 200+ shows a year, criss-crossing the heartland, from CO to MS, from NY to LA, as the hardest working family music man you will ever know. He is also piling up the albums, roughly one a year, churning out consistently high quality product. -

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Bubba hosted a charity event sponsored by Sarah does, held in honor of our 2 year old hero Avery. This little girl has changed our lives and is going to change the lives of so many other kids in her life.
We thank her parents Ryan and Hayley for allowing us to bless them but in turn also spending half of the money raised to help other families who struggle daily with Type 1 Diabetes in their homes.
Many of these people are our friends and we are sure they are yours as well.
We did a little bit of good this time, imagine the most good we can do the next one. Find out more and connect with our community at http://thesceneprojects.com - Laat meer zien
