Are you getting close to retirement and wondering what comes next? Or maybe you’ve found yourself retired and you weren’t really ready for it?
You’re not alone … many people have no idea what retirement is going to bring. And the internet is full of financial advice for retirement, but there's not much about what really goes on after retirement.
We all know that life doesn’t end at retirement – there’s potentially two or three more decades that we’re going to have to live through. So, the big question is … WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?
This podcast gives you the answer. Come along with me while I figure out how to live "the life I have imagined." You’ll hear from men and women who have moved away from traditional 9-5 jobs, and from some who are retired, and you'll hear my thoughts as I make my own journey. Together we’ll figure out what comes next.
This show isn’t about business and finances, it’s about life! -

In 2018, host Lea Normante joined the Church of Scientology on a whim. In the years since, she’s joined nearly a dozen other coercive organizations by choice, from international MLMs with secret upper tiers to white nationalist groups enabled by the federal government. The only commonalities? Rick Ross’s three telltale signs of a cult: charismatic leadership, brainwashing, and the systemic exploitation of members.
Through stories ranging from mild to life-threatening, I Joined A Cult chronicles Lea’s firsthand experiences with various exploitative groups. Be aware, and take care--cults are everywhere.

In this podcast, the host, Shelley-Anne Salisbury, an accredited Mediator, will be chatting with dispute resolution professionals from all over the world and from a variety of disciplines. She’ll be discussing mediation from their unique perspectives and experiences and asking them about their different approaches. Like Shelley-Anne, they believe mediation to be a powerful tool in resolving disputes and can avoid escalating legal costs and the unpredictability of court cases - not to mention the emotional rollercoaster of litigation which can often stretch out over many years. This takes a huge toll on the parties involved and their loved ones. Shelley-Anne knows from personal experience - both as a lawyer and as a litigant and this experience has left her with no doubt, litigation should be avoided at all costs .
Shelley-Anne and her guests will show, whilst mediation can be challenging, it's highly effective and to be able to bring a dispute to an end, allowing people to simply move on, is so rewarding. -

As children, we’re all asked what we want to be when we grow up. We tend to see the decision as finite when it isn’t. The Happiest Retirees podcast refocuses the lens to ask, now that you’re grown up, what do you want to do? How do you want to reinvent yourself? Who do you want to be? By going straight to the source — the happy retirees themselves — we capture the essence and the stories of their post-career lifestyles. Where have they stumbled? Where have they triumphed? How did they discover the core pursuits and passions that get them out of bed in the morning?
Over the past decade, host Ryan Doolittle has worked with Wes Moss to research and produce two books, countless articles, the long-running Money Matters radio show, and his successful Retire Sooner podcast. He’s a writer and comedian living in Los Angeles. He’s been both unhappy and happy, and he prefers the latter.

Somethin’s up with us, man...
somethin’s goin’ on...
I know you can feel it...
This is How to Be god
I’m your adorable host
My name is Liam
I’m producing this series to create a space to express myself freely, and to learn, and love and to flow in the direction my excitement dictates. My driving force is human evolution, and your underacknowledged inherent capabilities. *You* are the most important aspect of your own existence. If I manage to spark that memory in just a single individual, then I’ve done everything right.
I want to explain this stuff to you in a more approachable fashion, to help remind you that this whole thing is just an existential playtime...
and to en*joy* yourself!

For all of human history, we've been trying to figure out what humanity's superpower is. It's clear that we've outpaced every other animal on the planet but how? We're not the biggest, the fastest or the strongest. It turns out our superpower is our social intelligence. We have an amazing capacity to learn from each other.
As kids, we're like little sponges blindly copying culture from the people around us. The cultures into which we were all born evolved to fit very old agricultural environments. Each contains timeless wisdom about human affairs but none of them is ideally suited to navigating the ever-changing environment in which we find ourselves.
So, what do we do? We accept that we are all in unfamiliar territory and that nobody knows what they're doing. In fact, we're all just making it up as we go along. To a certain extent, that's all humanity has ever been doing.
The goal of Mixed Mental Arts is to steal the best cultural software from everywhere and apply the core principle of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do "Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own." Welcome to the dojo! We're excited to learn from you.
