David Sinclair is a professional trail runner and ski mountaineer based in Vermont. David recently signed a contract with Craft Sportswear following a phenomenal 2024. David won and broke the course records at Broken Arrow 46K, Speedgoat 50K and JFK 50 Mile last year. Rachel Drake is a professional runner for Nike based in Portland, Oregon. She just finished her season with a win and course record at the 2024 JFK 50 Miler. We did this episode with Rachel last year after her 2023 season.
Rachel is a mom, medical student (now doctor) and one of the best trail runners in the US. Rachel spent this year coming back from the recent birth of her son, Lewis. After an injury sidelined her, she eventually came back to finish 6th at OCC. Dani and EmKay chat with Rachel about her background, her pregnancy and everything since then.

The Merrell Skyrunner® World Series 2024 Final is here, and The Sub Hub Pod has you covered! If you’ve been keeping up with the Golden Trail World Series, you’ve likely noticed Allie Ostrander’s impressive performances. This season, she finished 15th overall, with standout results including 32nd at Sierre-Zinal, 7th at Headlands 27K, and 8th at Mammoth Trail Fest. Allie also finished 7th in the Prologue and secured a top 20 spot in the final, placing 19th.
