The episode where Boydston brings us some true crime thatâs really more of a history lesson on the history of developing vaccines for diphtheria and smallpox and the biologics that made it possible. Weâre gonna meet our new horse friend, Jim, and we love him almost as much as Sound. Thereâs a lot of science talk, so buckle up guys. This will all lead to the eventual passing of The 1902 Biologics Control Act to establish checks and balances for creating and administering vaccines. Welcome to Boydstonâs rabbit hole, weâre all jumping in.

The episode where Lindsey shares a fun story that occurred in 2020 that many of us may have forgotten because that year was a dumpster fire. And to be clear, we mean 2020, NOT 1920. Just to be clear, in case you got confused. This is the story of the Utah Monolith and the mystery behind it. Where did it come from? Who put it there? Why is it there? If you ask the Sarahs: aliens. Duh. Add it to the list of things that happened to us in 2020: aliens made contact and we werenât even phased.

The episode where Sarah brings us the infamous story of our favorite villain: Grigori Rasputin. If you havenât listened to her episode about the Romanov family, go listen and then come back to learn all about Rasputin and how his mini Rasputin got into a lot of trouble. Thereâs a lot of disturbing stuff here, so feel free to put your earmuffs on with Lindsey, especially when you find out where Raspy is today. Thereâs so much more to the story that âAnastasiaâ left out, and thank goodness or else this wouldnât have been a kid movie. Come on a journey with us and Raspy!

The episode where we return to Emmaus Asylum in Marthasville, MO. Please listen to episode 290 for the history behind this amazing place and our first experience there. You remember this place as the one that reignited our love of ghost hunting, so you know we had to return. Can confirm: the vibes were still there. Lots of shenanigans ensue, Sarahâs impression of speech impediments are Boydstonâs kryptonite, Lindsey develops spirit ears, and Sarah encounters her biggest fear: bats. In between the shenanigan, we get some EVPs, ankle hitting, and all the Ts and Bs.

The episode where Lindsey brings us a true crime of an infamous case that changed the way physicians practice medicine. This is John Bodkin Adams, a British physician who was accused of murdering his patients, in what was at that time called the murder trial of the century. Was it gross incompetence or serial mercy killer? It is still argued over, but the facts are that this case changed protections around physicians. But thereâs lots of inappropriate boundaries, eating cake in surgery, and some all around weirdness.

The episode where Sarah brings us a smorgasbord about one of Russiaâs most famous stories: the Romanov family. Most of us know about Anastasia (thanks Disney), but weâre going to deep dive into what led up to the night the family was massacred. Lindsey will give us some Russian accents, and Boydston makes a tin foil dress. And we promise, no Anastasia singing (even though we REALLY wanted to). Stay tuned, because Sarah is gonna do a deep dive on our favorite villain: Rasputin. Again, we blame Disney.

The episode where Boydston brings us a paranormal story about the town of CairoâŠ.Illinois. This town has a deep history of racism. Not mining, like some may think. The town is deserted now, but thereâs a Ghost Hospital (actually), and some bad vibes. Who wants to come to Cairo with us?!

The episode where we share our recent return to Cowtown in Wichita, KS. We havenât been here since 2021, so we were overdue to return and see if the spirits missed us. TBD if they did. We got some weird vibes in a jail, we reunited with Beary (our fave), and no investigation is complete without some singing. Donât worry, we wonât subject you to that.

The episode where Sarah brings us part two of Operation Midnight Climax, so please make sure you check out last weekâs episode for part 1 of the story. Weâre gonna start back up with the story of Frank Olsen, a tragic unsolved story. Weâll also learn what we learned from Midnight Climax (not much), and whether we want to know whatâs being done now (we donât). Government is fun, thanks Sarah.

The episode where Sarah finally brings us a true crime story that has been a long time comingâŠOperation Midnight Climax. This is a two parter, and chaos will ensue as we explain our jokes all throughout the episode, because apparently there is only one braincell to be shared amongst us. Operation Midnight Climax was a government experiment that involved drugging people, and studying the effectsâŠall without consent and in the name of mind control. Things are fine, everything is fineâŠwell Lindsey is going to put on her earmuffs and pretend everything is fine. Look, if you can handle hearing about awful government experiments, youâre gonna love this story. If you want to stick your head in the sand, come join Lindsey.

The episode where Boydston shares a smorgasbord story of the Cadaver Synod from 897 AD. If you have no idea what that means, donât worry, Boydston will give us a vocab lesson. Basically, the new Pope decided to dig up a deceased Pope from his grave, put him on trial, and sentenced himâŠall while he was already dead. Petty? Probably. But this is definitely one trial youâve probably never heard of, but it is FASCINATING. Meanwhile, weâll hear about a rooster on trial, the Sarahs are going to find a way to make this dirty, and of course Lindsey is scandalized.

The episode where Lindsey brings us a paranormal story about the Strater Hotel in Durango, Colorado. Built in 1887 amidst the San Juan mountains, the hotel is known for its haunted history surrounding the mining town. Weâre also going to revisit some period clothing (our favorite), fun facts you wish you didnât know, and the Sarahs misunderstanding Lindsey.

The episode where Boydston shares a fun little history story about the Glass King. True story, King Charles VI of France (think 1400s time) was known as âThe Belovedâ but the began to believe he was made of glass and well, things took a turn. Thereâs an evil uncle involved (Scar, is that you?), zero bubble wrap to protect the Glass King, and of course, a woman comes to the rescue. You may know of her, Joan of Arc, sheâs kinda a big deal. But the biggest takeaway from this history lesson: if you were made of glass, what would be the most dangerous thing?!

The episode where Boydston tells us a true crime with a classic whodunnit story. Meet William and Julia Wallace (or Chester and Chestina, thank you Sarah). England, 1931, William gets a call to play chess but things donât go as he thought. The less said about this case the better, but itâs all about vibes when it comes to the trial. Lindsey and Sarah also are determined to snuggle wolves, and Boydston is not here for it. And we all learn some history fun facts, no thanks to our education system.

The episode where Lindsey brings us a smorgasbord about the infamous sleep deprivation study. Three teenagers decided to break the world record for sleep deprivation in 1964, and we ended up learning a lot about the effects of sleep on our cognitive and motor functioning. Weâre gonna talk about some space fun facts, micro sleeping, and share our own experiences with sleep deprivation (spoiler: Lindsey is the winner here). Hopefully the episode about sleep doesnât make you as tired as it made Boydston!

The episode where we share our recent stay/investigation at The Sheraton KC Hotel at Crown Center. If you donât know your KC history, weâre about to teach you some! And donât feel bad, Lindsey doesnât know her own KC history, but sheâll tell us about the 1981 engineering disaster. Itâs some Final Destination type of stuff. Weâll share our ideas for our next tea party, talk about Sir and Mis Conduct, and of course share about our sleepover at the hotel.

The episode where Sarah shares a favorite smorgasbord topic: itâs government conspiracy time, yaâll. Thatâs right, take your anxiety meds because Unit 731 is going to make you both sad and anxious. Picture it: WW2, Japanese scientists, human experimentation, a complete disregard for ethics, and a pardon from the US all to get hands on the research. Lindsey is sad, Boydstonâs word play is on point to bring up the vibes, and Sarah is here to feed anxieties you didnât know you had.

The episode where Lindsey shares an unsolved true crime (yay!) and we find our enneagram kitchen utensils. We needed to know. This is the story of the Jamison family who disappeared in Oklahoma in 2009. They left behind some weird video footage, their dog (heâs okay, donât worry), and a LOT of moneyâŠand to this day we donât know what happened to them. The Sarahs truly love a good unsolved mystery, so fun times all around here.

The episode where Boydston shares the mysterious Kelly Hopkinsville encounter. Thatâs right guys, itâs a goblin story! Okay, really, itâs an alien story, but to us, they are shiny goblinos. Setting the stage: Kentucky, August 1955. Mysterious beings descend upon a family and itâs a Matrix style battle. Some believe it was owls, but bird expert Boydston is here to disprove this theory. Meteors? Hoax? Who knows, but it is a wild ride.
