  • Their plan to murder Honorah Rieper was top priority as the date for Juliet's departure from New Zealand was nearing, neither one thought that it would take more than one blow but when the pathologist was done examining Nora it would take the girls 45 blows to take the life of Pauline's murder and less than 24 hours for it all to unravel...

  • When you are in school you develop a few things; you most likely have a top 3 for your future career and friends- but for Juliet and Pauline their friendship would exceed your typical high school BFFs, no these two wanted to be inseparable and they didn't care who they had to take down in order to maintain that. Two teenagers from two different countries and socioeconomic backgrounds would collide during the most impressionable time in a child's life and together they would create a story that neither is capable of escaping...

  • Louise's face on the footage from the body cam of the officers who made entrance into the Turpin home told the world all we needed to know... they were caught.
17-year-old Jordan Turpin would make a decision, one that she had been planning for more than 2 years... Despite being able to verbally tell officers what was going on behind the closed doors of her family's home, she was able to show photos for proof, photos to say the words she didn't even know existed. Her story went from a tale-tell to one of the worse child abuse cases to be uncovered in America. This time all the children would escape their prison, unlike other children who are abused or neglected.

Join me tonight to close out this house of horrors series and the closeout of yet another season of TTCL...

If you know of a child being abused or neglected or suspect that a child is being abused or neglected please contact your local law enforcement or call the National Hotline for Child Abuse 1-800-422-4453, give a voice to the children fading into the background...

  • Those who lived on Muir Woods Road in Perris California could have never guessed what was going on behind the closed door of the house sitting at 160 Muir Woods. 13 children were rescued from that home; 7 of which were legally adults. The 1-year-old was the only one to not appear malnourished or abused. To understand how something like this could happen we have to go back and start at the beginning...

  • Aileen was now a killer, her first victim Richard Mallory dead from multiple gunshot wounds, and now she has found a better way at robbing these men... kill them first- she claims self-defense in each and every victim's case but not all were out to rape and beat her.

PTSD can make the mind see and hear completely different things than what is actually going on- for Lee the repeated rapes she suffered came to a head and burst into an uncontrolled burning rage within Lee. Triggered possibly by finding herself alone with a man in the woods and her fight or flight response kicked in causing her to take the lives of David Spears, Charles "Chuck" Carskaddon, and Peter Siems but she wouldn't stop at just these men... she was going to keep killing and keep robbing them until one beat her to death or until the cops figured her out...

  • Aileen and Ty meeting created tsunamis in their life together, they both loved each other (Lee would later say like sisters, however, Ty had been introduced as Lee's Wife on more than one occasion) but never the less these two were virtually inseparable from June of 1986 into 1991 when Lee would be arrested for the murder of 7 men and faced the electric chair for her crimes.

Lee desperate for love and acceptance turned her to the only person she could trust, Tyria. Lee did anything and everything to make sure Ty stayed in her life, even killing in order to support their dream bubble for as long as possible, and a wrong-place, wrong-time scenario landed Richard Mallory in a chance encounter with an angry Lee who claims to have acted in self-defense when the sex-crazed Richard went rouge and decided to rape her... per her side of the story...

  • Tonight we close out TTCL's coverage of the Jennifer Kesse Disappearance with some theories... some are far-fetched, others make complete and total sense but with very little evidence to go on all are plausible in a case like this.
Was it an office romance that lead to Jennifer vanishing into thin air?
Did Jennifer inadvertently cross paths with someone involved in human trafficking and lead to the sighting in Tennessee?
We discuss all of this tonight on TTCL!

  • Looking into the sudden disappearance of Jennifer Kesse you are presented with 50 leads, like a fork in the road, you have to choose one to go down and look at what makes sense and what seems completely out of the question based on the short timeline and what her parents have taught us about their daughter.
Questions raised on the exact time Jennifer disappeared allow us to use some of the things found around the condo at 3 pm the afternoon of January 24th to determine whether Jennifer was still home or had she already been abducted...

Now a possible witness steps forward and tells us of her interaction with Jennifer and something that could prove to be even more sinister than originally thought...

  • Jennifer Joyce Kesse was just 24 years old when she vanished without a trace. Her family immediately took action with the hopes to find their loved one. 16 years later her face is still seen on missing person flyers around Orlando, her name is still spoken on investigative television shows and podcasts just like this one and still, no one knows what happened to this beautiful and young woman. The person to dump her car less than a mile from her condo is labeled the "Luckiest Person of Interest Ever". No one knows what happened to Jennifer and no one is giving up on finding her.

But without a body or murder weapon, we can only speculate what happened that night of January 31, 1982.
The DA had just announced weeks prior to Robert's passing that they were reopening Kathie Durst's disappearance and that he was indicted as their offender in the case. Finding Kathie would be the needle in this haystack of a mess that this case is and we could finally put to rest a beautiful soul...

  • When the most unlikely person surfaces to help the Green River Task Force in their drive to stop the man creating terror in the King County area of Washington State, investigators have more than curiosity plaguing them with this offer for aide. There could be something here to learn and with the studies of John Douglas with interviewing serial killers, they can't help but hope that Ted Bundy possesses the key in finding their guy. But you have to wonder what the true intentions are of Bundy and if he is playing a game that only results in him escaping Ol' Sparky.

Gary's longest cluster killing spree is coming to a close, then suddenly the earth around King County pushes his dirty secrets to the surface and the Task Force adapts to a new way of investigating as body after body surfaces and some are of women never even reported missing.

This is part 1 of the 2 part season 3 finale of the True Crime Librarian, stick with me as we close out a case that took nearly 3 decades to solve, and the man whose hunch it was that Ridgway was their guy will get the best gift of all when his guy was the one they've been looking for all along...

  • 27 possible victims at this juncture in 1983, they weren't even halfway through the year and their killer was adding notches to his bedpost faster than they were finding the bodies of the missing. No matter where investigators focused their eyes Gary was 2 steps ahead...
Gary was developing a pattern, certain areas on the strip became his go-to spots, his dumping sites would be used until compromised, and his vehicle description changed so that no two could correctly identify him... he was smart and always felt superior to those hunting him down... he was perfecting his craft and it was taking less time from the minute he picked up a woman to the point he dumped her lifeless body somewhere in the surrounding forest and vegetation.
Parents were frantic to find their missing daughters, only to find that they fit the profile of the type of victim hunted by the Green River Killer... many were left to wonder what happened to their daughters for nearly 3 decades... Gary was working in overdrive and had no plans of slowing down...
