  • Valerie tells us in this interview that she is a carnivore because when she was young, existing on vegetables wasn’t enough and she became malnourished and anxious and depressed. She began several hospitalizations which just lead to an IV tube that was basically feeding her junk food. This didn’t help. Later she had many issues caused by the things she was doing and doctors suggested were a result of a lack of certain proteins and calcium which she wasn’t getting. She tried many things to deal with it but since starting to eat primarily meat Valerie started overcoming 20 physical illnesses and 6 mental illnesses, including anorexia. All thanks to the carnivore diet. She also discusses the benefits of doing an oxalate protocol, which involves slowly reducing oxalate-rich foods to avoid painful oxalate dumping.

Valerie also shares that she has read many books on anxiety and nutrition. She found it helpful as it recommends foods to help with anxiety. Valerie also mentions the importance of finding replacement foods instead of feeling deprived. The trigger for her anxiety started at a young age due to poor nutrition, gut damage from antibiotics, and trauma from her father leaving the family. However, therapy and healing have helped her deal with some of the emotional aspects, but not the mental illness.

  • Bob talks about being a diabetic and how shortly after starting a carnivore diet his swollen feeling in his feet (a sign of diabetic neuropathy) disappeared. He discusses his 35 year-long gout problem and how 23 months of carnivore has stopped the gout attacks in their tracks! Not forgetting his Type 2 diabetes diagnosis and how he was initially told to give up meat, which he did! But it did nothing except see his uric acid levels going extremely high, this was despite being vegetarian. He also describes his other health improvements including curing fatty liver and chronic kidney disease.

Bob became carnivore because he had health problems for over 35 years. As mentioned, gout was the biggest issue, Type 2 diabetes was not controlled, and pain was so bad it stopped him being able to stand for just a few minutes. He was following a high-carb, low-fat diet, and was on over 20 medications.

After researching the carnivore diet online and watching videos by Dr. Ken Berry, he decided to give carnivore a try. Within two years, he has lost 150 pounds, reversed his type 2 diabetes, fatty liver disease, and chronic kidney disease and more!

  • In this interview Roddy explains how he reversed his type 2 diabetes and other health issues, such as fatty liver, by switching to a ketogenic and later carnivore diet. Roddy explains how he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and was put on medication, but his health continued to deteriorate. He was recommended to try a ketogenic diet after his wife did some research and found it could help with his condition. Roddy saw significant improvements and was even able to stop taking some of his medications. He later transitioned to full carnivore after following low-carb for a year, losing weight and improving blood sugar levels. After hearing about the success stories of carnivore with reversing diseases, Roddy decided to try carnivore for himself in 2018. He saw improvements in joint and liver health, and now follows a mostly one meal a day pattern with great energy. Roddy says that the carb counting has stopped being important as he doesn't consume any carbs on the carnivore diet so he does not even need to count them!

Roddy was 5 years keto before morphing onto carnivore 15 months ago. Roddy is 67 years old now and feels better now than he felt at 57! There’s been many health improvements, too many to mention just now. But a short summary is:
    Cured T2D
    Cured NAFLD
    Cured Neuropathy
    Lowered Triglycerides
    Reduced Arthritis Pain

  • Houston is a youtuber and health coach who had a lot of health problems since she was born. For as long as she can remember she had suffered with acne, ADD, body dysmorphia, ADHD, depression and eczema. In 2016 she started the keto diet with and even tried traditional Chinese medicine. Even though she is a personal trainer and was doing everything “right” in her healthy lifestyle she felt numb and ill.

Houston shares that her childhood is full of illnesses such as chest infections, cold sores, tonsillitis, and multiple UTIs. She also reveals that she had a sugar addiction since a very young age which she describes as almost like a monster controlling her, leading to binge eating. She talks about how she got into the fitness industry and eventually did a bodybuilding competition which made the binge eating and sugar addiction worse. She also shares her experiences with different diet and lifestyle changes like going vegan and the horrors that bought. In just 45 days of carnivore Houston feels finally alive, vibrant, and happy.

  • I interviewed the wonderful Josie, a former vegan, about her experience, and she shared why she decided to give up veganism, how she manages her current diet and lifestyle, and her thoughts on the vegan community. We also discussed the environmental impact, health concerns, and social pressure surrounding veganism. This is an interview with Josie, a woman who healed her health issues by transitioning from a vegan to a carnivore diet. She became vegan at 13 and started experiencing health issues after 10 years. She tried many different things to improve her health, but nothing seemed to work. After discovering the carnivore diet through influencers, she decided to try it and saw immediate improvements in her health, including clearer skin and improved mental health.

She now eats mostly ruminant meats and fish. Josie, became a vegan at the age of 13 due to ethical reasons. However, after 14 years of being vegan, she started experiencing severe health problems such as ulcerative colitis, diarrhea, and malnutrition. After trying various approaches to manage her condition, she decided to try the carnivore diet, which improved her health greatly. She now gets a lot of criticism and hate from vegans for her choice, but she believes in the benefits of the carnivore.

She also mentioned the discussion panels on topics such as ultra-processed food and how to educate kids on proper nutrition. There is also a panel on mental health and the connection to diet. She believes that conversations about mental health and nutrition need to be more open and honest as there is a strong link between the two. She also talked about the importance of changing the current healthcare and education systems.
Olivia herself has been on the low carb, keto-carnivore path for about 2 years for similar reasons to Coach Stephen: taking care of her parents made her realize how important it was to prevent herself from getting lifelong diseases. Her skin, eyes, teeth, athletic performance have all improved. The changes were even noticeable when she was on a strict keto diet. She doesn’t see any reason to go back to any other type of diet. • Dr. Lisa Wiedeman became carnivore because she had a 30-year history of disordered eating and binge eating. She discovered the zero-carb forum in 2009 and connected with people who had used this way of eating to overcome their disordered eating. She is passionate about sharing her story and being an example for others. She started the lion diet challenge to focus on eliminating dairy from her diet. She believes that sugar and carbs are highly addictive, and that big food and the medical healthcare industry are not reliable. People with Rheumatoid arthritis have found relief in going on a carnivore diet. Regular "doctors" and modern science don't believe in the diet. Dr Lisa became curious about it and started researching. She came across Shawn Baker and his advice about how to follow this way of life became very important to her.
Dr. Lisa Wiedeman explains how tracking your diet can be beneficial for understanding your body's reactions to different foods. She suggests paying attention to your fat intake and potentially trying leaner meats if you're new to the Keto diet. Tracking can help you make informed decisions about your food choices. Dr. Lisa will also be a guest on the upcoming 24- hour livestream event on 7th July.

My health issues were suffering from: sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, hallucinations, atrial fibrillation, eye sight decreasing and sleep walking, shitting blood for years. I was dying and the medical system ran me the ringer. After surgery and losing some weight. I was still having issues.
Having being defibrillated 5 times for afib by age 29. I lost the weight like they said but still wasn’t getting better. I researched on my own and found I needed to focus on animal high fat high protein. My cardiologist told me never to come back 3yrs ago. Cured my heart disease."

  • Paul became a carnivore, after an experiment with plant based mixed martial arts, but he did not enjoy it and found it easier to eat meat and no veggies or others. There were no real issues with his family when they talked about it but for himself but meal planning though involved more work. He does not like fish too much. In the interview we talk about the different types of diets Paul has tried, such as plant-based, carnivore, and standard diets. The guest shares that he still drinks coffee and avoids sugar, but occasionally has a glass of rum or wine.
We discuss the benefits and challenges of each diet, and how they react to them. They also talk about the differences between the militant attitudes in the vegan community and the more relaxed attitude in the carnivore community.
Paul does workout and he states that he has never taken steroids and is 100% natural. He believes that people should have the right to choose whether to take steroids. He disagrees with those who promote natural lifestyles and then take steroids in secret. Paul is new to the carnivore diet and is not sure if they will stick to it, but he appreciates the opportunity to share his experience.
Paul hopes he has provided some value to viewers and thanks the interviewer for the opportunity to speak. He is looking forward to speaking again in maybe 6 months.

  • A vegan diet may seem healthy, but it lacks many essential nutrients that are only found in animal foods, such as iron, zinc, and vitamin B12. These nutrients are important for muscle building, hormone production, and neurotransmitter function.

The herbicide glyphosate used to kill plants also blocks a pathway that affects bacteria, which means it can harm the bacteria in our gut that are responsible for creating neurotransmitters. Many vegans report good health because they are well-educated and practice other healthy habits, there is a debate about the benefits and environmental impact of eating an animal-based diet versus a plant-based diet.

The Eat Lancet guidelines recommend limiting red meat consumption for environmental reasons, but research shows that other factors, such as crop farming, contribute more to greenhouse gas emissions. Veganism is also often chosen for ethical reasons, but the use of pesticides and machinery in crop farming leads to the deaths of many animals.

On the other hand, a true carnivore diet can be more in line with caring for the planet and killing less animals.

  • Dr. Anthony Chaffee emphasizes the importance of listening to your body's hunger and satiety signals, rather than relying on strict calorie counting. Anthony Chaffey is a doctor who give us some amazing thoughts on how our body functions. We can understand our biochemistry to take care of ourselves. Carnivorous diets replace carbohydrates and fiber while addressing the root cause of issues such as autoimmune diseases. This type of diet helps with Crohn's. The panel discusse the benefits of a carnivore diet and how it can improve overall health. They also touch on how a carnivore diet can help with specific health issues, such as nutrient deficiencies, bone density, and inflammation. They advise against taking supplements unless there is a known deficiency and suggest getting nutrients from animal sources. They also address questions about specific health concerns and recommend consulting a doctor if symptoms persist. They also touch on the use of MCT oil, with differing opinions on its benefits: The carnivore diet can be modified to help with cancer by focusing on limiting glucose and glutamine in the diet, keeping the glucose ketone index below two (ideally below one) through a combination of a high-fat carnivore diet and fasting or the use of glutamine-disrupting agents like DON. Additionally, it may be helpful to limit the amount of deuterium (heavy hydrogen) in the body, as studies have shown this can damage cancer cells.

To ensure adequate digestion, make sure to thoroughly chew your food. - If you're experiencing bowel issues while on a carnivore diet, it could be due to excess fat intake, eating too quickly, or not chewing your food enough. - Consider eliminating carbonated beverages, caffeine, artificial sweeteners, and any other potential irritating substances from your diet. - If you're experiencing gut issues on a carnivore diet, try incorporating some live culture

  • In this interview, window cleaner and 'Kent Carnivore' YouTuber Lee shares his journey with depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, and digestive issues that led him to try the carnivore diet. He explains why he believes the diet has been so transformative for his health and well-being, and how he spreads the message through his Kent Carnivore YouTube channel and advocating by example with those close to him. Lee also discusses an upcoming surgery related to his previous ileostomy surgery and his plans to continue following a carnivore diet.

    Lee's YouTube https://youtube.com/@kentcarnivore

The Kent Carnivore was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2012 and followed the traditional medical advice of consuming more fiber and taking medication. However, his condition worsened until he ended up in the hospital and had to have emergency surgery to remove his colon. He struggled with depression after the surgery and was recommended to try a carnivore diet by watching videos by Mikaela Peterson.

He and his partner decided to try it for 30 days and have been on the diet for 19 months: He had ulcerative colitis starting at 20 years old and had a portion of his colon removed. He never found relief with medications, which instead caused a lot of problems. He suffers from bowel incontinence and is now much healthier and happier on a carnivore diet. He feels that if he had been on a carnivore diet from a young age, he would not have developed the illness, and he thanks the diet for saving his life through an emergency surgery.

  • In this conversation RibeyeRach, shares her experience with chronic fatigue syndrome and how she was able to recover from it using a combination of a carnivore diet, brain retraining, and other lifestyle changes. She also talks about the importance of mindset, movement, and stepping back from illness support groups in her healing journey. Racheal emphasizes the power of listening to recovery stories and surrounding yourself with positive influences when trying to heal from a chronic illness. As technologies evolve, the roles of healthcare professionals also change.

More and more, people have started taking their health and healing into their own hands, collaborating with doctors, but not letting their limiting beliefs about what can and cannot be done hold them back.
Racheal has seen that chronic illness sufferers can also benefit from eating meat-based diets as well. Having healthy and supportive relationships is an important factor in healing, as well as trusting in the body's ability to heal itself.

Paying attention to circadian rhythms by getting enough natural light and avoiding excessive screen time can also improve overall health. Maintaining good posture and gradually increasing movement and exercise can also be beneficial, but it's important to pace oneself and be mindful of individual limitations.

Brain retraining is retraining the brain to signal safety to the brain to achieve a parasympathetic state. This can be done through practicing visualization in the form of brain retraining programs, and belief work to let go of limiting beliefs. Somatic practices, such as body-centered modalities, can also help with releasing tension and enhancing awareness. Having an open mind and starting with curiosity can aid in changing limiting beliefs and allowing for healing to take place.

  • Georgia Ede M.D. is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist specializing in nutrition science and brain metabolism. Her twenty-five years of clinical experience include twelve years as a college psychiatrist and nutrition consultant at Smith College and Harvard University Health Services, where she was the first to offer students nutrition-based approaches as an alternative to psychiatric medications. Dr. Ede speaks internationally about dietary approaches to psychiatric disorders. She co-authored the first
inpatient study of the ketogenic diet for treatment-resistant mental illnesses, developed the first medically accredited course in ketogenic diets for mental health practitioners, and was honored to be named a recipient of the Baszucki Brain Research Fund’s first annual Metabolic Mind Award. Her new book Change Your Diet, Change Your Mind was released on January 30, 2024.

Georgia Ede, MD, encourages the audience to try a nutritious diet for their mental health and to experiment with different meats to find what works best for them. The goal is to find a diet that brings the most mental health benefits and is personally enjoyable for everyone. She encourages the listeners to engage their curiosity and try the diet for a few weeks or months to see the potential benefits.
The root causes of mental health problems are no longer believed to be simply chemical imbalances, but may result from inflammation, oxidative stress, and energy imbalances, which are often caused by insulin resistance. Georgia Ede also explains how the brain can run on both glucose and ketones but does best with a mixture of both.
There is conflicting evidence about the effectiveness of plant-based diets for brain health, with some experts believing they may be inferior due to nutritional deficiencies.

  • In a recent interview, Coach Bronson shared his personal experience with following a carnivore diet and how it transformed his life. He initially started the carnivore diet as an experiment to alleviate his urgent bowel issues that caused him years of anxiety and stress. To his surprise, within 90 days, he noticed a significant improvement in his bowel problems and also experienced other benefits like clearer skin and improved body composition.

But Coach Bronson's journey was not just about following a specific diet. He had a history of being involved in fitness and was a CrossFit gym owner. However, he also struggled with chronic injuries and the inability to work out consistently due to inflammation and pain. He thought it was just a result of getting older, but incorporating the carnivore diet into his lifestyle helped him overcome these challenges. He now works out five to six times a week, without any workout-related injuries, and feels fantastic.

Coach Bronson's story highlights the importance of individualizing nutrition and fitness choices based on personal goals and needs. One-size-fits-all protocols and diets may not work for everyone, and it's essential to find what works best for you.

In his upcoming book, Coach Bronson aims to address the common issue of people getting stuck by following protocols that don't apply to them. He emphasizes the significance of understanding individual goals, considering the whole picture, following concepts rather than strict rules, making sustainable choices, and continually measuring and evaluating progress. By focusing on these principles, individuals can achieve body confidence and create lasting changes in their lives.

  • Jessalyn Randle initially started a carnivore diet to lose weight but stuck with it because of the other benefits. She was struggling with chronic constipation, acne, and irregular weight before the carnivore diet. Her mental health also improved significantly on the diet. Jess also spent some time traveling and learning about regenerative farming in the US.

She believes that Wagyu beef is overhyped and prefers regular ribeye. She was never plant-based due to her lack of moral qualms with eating meat, Jess discusses her previous struggles with digestive issues, skin problems, and weight gain and how switching to a meat-based diet has resolved these issues. She also talks about how she deals with comments and criticism from those who don't believe in carnivore

  • When it comes to nutrition and dietary choices, there are numerous options and opinions to consider. One particular approach that has gained popularity in recent years is the Carnivore Diet. This way of eating emphasizes the consumption of animal foods while eliminating or severely restricting plant-based foods. But what drives someone to adopt such an eating plan that's growing in popularity all the time? To gain insights into this unique journey, I had the pleasure of interviewing Jonathan Griffiths, also known as Carnivore Muscle.

Jonathan's journey into the carnivore lifestyle began four years ago when he first heard about World Carnivore Month. At the time, he was working at a vegan health food shop and noticed that many of the customers who followed a plant-based diet were not in good health. This observation prompted him to question the efficacy of the food they were consuming and the supplements they were purchasing. As a nutrition professional with a degree in the field, he had a solid understanding of the importance of animal foods in maintaining a healthy diet.
