We go over Jon Stewart's comments on the Jewish goblin trope in folklore and fantasy, and how twitter TRAs blew it up as a way to target their favorite punching bag, JK Rowling, for her firm stance on womenâs sex-based rights and her critique of gender identity ideology.

In this episode we talk about a recent memo from the Transgender Law Center (https://transgenderlawcenter.org/), an org which advocates for keeping trans issues out of the media and tying them to racial struggles in order to maintain public approval.
We also discuss a recent LA Times Article "Mocking anti-vaxxersâ COVID deaths is ghoulish, yes â but may be necessary" by Michael Hiltzik. https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2022-01-10/why-shouldnt-we-dance-on-the-graves-of-anti-vaxxers

In this episode, we discuss the latest in gender shenanigans. The main item of discussion is Gabriel Mac's article in NYMag about his/her recent phalloplasty. The grotesque nature of the surgery is repackaged as empowering and aspirational. We think this is a dangerous contribution to the social contagion of gender dysphoria among young women and girls. We also talk about the latest tweet from JK Rowling, and the usual attacks on her from the likes of Seth Abramson, whose very, very long twitter thread did more to make us laugh than to refute Rowling's point.
Note: Sasha inexplicable calls Gabriel Mac "Gabriel Mae" in this episode. Please forgive us this oversight and note that the name is "Mac" not "Mae."
