fourty years. His unique style of communicating stories in song has been popular with venues all around the Pacific Northwest. His albums have sold thousands of copies, both in the US and around the world. His musical tastes and styles are quite varied so almost everyone can find songs that appeal to them. Steven's love of american folk music is the thread that runs through most songs but you will also hear infusions of rock, country, bluegrass, jazz, blues and traditional Gospel in many of his songs. Steven sometimes uses professional backing tracks to obtain a richer concert experience and the original songs you hear at his concerts are what you will hear on his albums.
