Welcome back to the kitchen table. One of our greatest fears is that Satan will find a way to destroy our children’s faith and lead them away from God. In a world full of challenges and temptations, we must pray that God protects and guides our children.
Psalm 18:16-19 gives us a powerful reminder of God’s saving grace. Satan is relentless in his attempts to come against us and our families. But we can stand firm on the promise that God will protect us.
We ask for God’s protection over their hearts and minds, trusting that He will guide them through the challenges they face.

Welcome back to the kitchen table. One of the most powerful tools we have as parents is prayer. In today’s episode Bethany shares the incredible impact of praying not just for our children, but also for yourself.
Praying for yourself is not an act of selfishness, but rather a crucial step in becoming the parent you aspire to be—a servant of Jesus Christ, guiding my children on their faith walk.
In Colossians 4:12, we are reminded of the importance of prayer. This verse speaks to parents, highlighting the need to pray fervently and persistently for our children. It’s a reminder that we should be constantly seeking God’s guidance, not just for them, but also for ourselves
Let us continually ask God to guide us, to strengthen us, and to fill us with his love.

Welcome back to the kitchen table. One of our deepest prayers is that our children walk through life with tender hearts. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15 about the importance of forgiveness.
We seek God's guidance to help our children maintain a tender heart, free from bitterness and anger. Life's challenges can often leave wounds that make it easy for their hearts to harden, not just towards others, but even towards God.
When our children experience wounds, we pray that they bring these hurts to God. We want to teach them that it's okay to feel pain and to question, but it's essential to walk through these emotions with God.
We ask God to help our children walk with tender hearts, to embrace and extend forgiveness, and to bring their wounds to him for healing.

Welcome back to the kitchen table. In today’s episode Betahny prays for God to work in our children’s hearts and minds. We ask him to shape their character, helping them to understand how their words impact those around them. As parents, we hold a deep desire for our children to grow up walking in peace.
Proverbs 15:1-2 teaches us the power of our words. We ask God to work in our children’s hearts and minds, helping them to see how their speech impacts those around them. When our children speak, we hope their words glorify God and uplift others.
Encouraging our children to run their words through a Holy Spirit filter is crucial. This means teaching them to pause and consider: Are these words kind? Are they spoken in anger? We continue to pray that they understand the power of a soft answer.

Welcome back to the kitchen table. As parents, our deepest desire is often to see our children grow into responsible, loving, and obedient individuals. We pray that God would help our children walk in his ways, calling them to obedience not out of duty, but out of a love for Jesus.
When we call our children to obedience, we are inviting them to walk in the ways of God. This isn't just about following rules, it's about nurturing a heart that loves and honors Jesus. True obedience stems from this love. As Romans 6:16-18 reminds us, our lives are transformed by our relationship with Christ.
We pray for the Holy Spirit to work within our children, to soften and transform their rebellious hearts into ones that seek obedience out of love for Jesus.

Bethany’s prayer is simple yet profound—we ask that our children be rooted in truth. We pray for discernment, that they may distinguish truth and courage, to stand firmly in the truth, even when it's difficult.
And so, we pray that our children's hearts remain open to his guidance, that they may walk in his truth.

Welcome back to the kitchen table. As we walk into Day 9 of our prayer journey, our focus turns to a fundamental aspect of our children's development—their character.
Today, Bethany welcomes you to join her in prayer on seeking God's guidance and grace as we nurture virtues within our children that will shape their interactions and relationships.
In Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus teaches us that the greatest commandment is to love—love God with all our being and love our neighbor as ourselves. It's a simple yet profound truth that forms the foundation of our faith.
For us, as parents, there's no greater desire than for our children to walk in love. We long for their hearts to overflow with love for God and for others. We ask for guidance in nurturing their hearts to be free from selfishness instead, filled with compassion, kindness, and understanding.
Our hope is that these words—love for God and love for neighbor—become more than just words to our children. We pray that they permeate their hearts and minds, shaping their thoughts, words, and actions.

Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany welcomes listeners to day 6 of our prayer journey. Today our focus turns to a topic close to every parent's heart: helping our children understand their true identity.
In Ephesians 2:10, we are reminded that we are God's workmanship, created with purpose and intention. This verse serves as a powerful affirmation of the unique gifts and talents that God has gifted upon each of our children. They are not accidents or afterthoughts but beautifully crafted individuals with skills and giftings designed by God Himself.
As parents, our prayers are focused on guiding our children to embrace this truth wholeheartedly. We pray that instead of seeking validation from the world, they find their worth and value in God's unconditional love. "You are my workmanship," God declares, and within this declaration lies a profound truth – that he has good works prepared for each of our children.

Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany invites you to day four of her journey through the Warrior Mama’s Prayer journal. Today Bethany invites listeners to join her in praying for our kids to really grasp what their sin means.
As mothers we yearn for our children to understand the complexities of their faith, to grasp the concept of sin, and to recognize their need for a savior.Romans 3: 23-25 reminds us that we all fall short of God's glory.
As parents, we're called to pray for our children's spiritual eyes to be opened—to see beyond the distractions and pressures of the world and recognize their need for redemption. It's a prayer we utter not just once but continually, month after month, knowing that this understanding is foundational to their faith journey.

In these verses, we're reminded of a profound truth: we are not meant to carry our anxieties alone. Instead, we are encouraged to cast them upon God, for he cares deeply for us. It's a simple yet profound invitation to surrender our worries and burdens to the one who is more than capable of carrying them for us.
Bethany reminds us to sit with God, to rejoice in his presence even as we pour out our hearts to him. In that space, we can find comfort knowing that he is with us every step of the way.

We're told that we only have 18 years to get it all right—to mold, shape, and guide our children into adulthood. The fear of the future looms large, whispering doubts and insecurities into our hearts.
In 2 Corinthians 1:20-22, we find reassurance in God's promises. He is faithful to fulfill all that he has spoken over us and our children. Even in our moments of doubt and regret, his love remains steadfast, and his plans for us and our families hold true.
We are not defined by the fleeting seasons of motherhood but by the love and grace of our God. Bethany reminds listeners today to embrace motherhood with confidence and grace, knowing that we are more than capable of fulfilling the role entrusted to us.

Welcome back to the kitchen table as Bethany welcomes listeners into a series of understanding motherhood through the eyes of God.In motherhood we often find ourselves measuring our success or failure based on what they perceive happening around them.
How do we stop constantly measuring ourselves against others? In today’s episode Bethany uses a word picture to help listeners change the way they view comparison.
So, how do we stop believing the lie that our worth is determined by how we measure up to others? We hold tightly to Jesus and His promises. We remind ourselves daily that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, uniquely designed for a purpose only we can fulfill. We refuse to let comparison steal our joy or diminish our worth.
In Him, we find the freedom to be ourselves and the strength to rise above comparison.

Welcome back to the kitchen table as Bethany welcomes listeners into a series of understanding motherhood through the eyes of God. Motherhood is a journey where we often find ourselves questioning if we have the answers for the season we're in which many mothers find themselves entangled in a web of doubt and uncertainty.
Bethany reminds listeners of the words found in Jeremiah 33:3: "Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
This verse serves as a gentle reminder that we're not expected to have all the answers. We're not meant to navigate the complexities of motherhood alone. Instead, we're encouraged to lean on God, to seek guidance, and to trust in his wisdom.
We're reminded to turn to the one who knows all things, who sees the bigger picture, and who offers guidance and reassurance in times of need.
