It's a really really short episode this week. Neither of us watched anything new. But we're still here to entertain you! We start out with a woman and a wombat. Then we have some movies that may have been prophetic. The return of some new shows. Pattie gets some facts wrong, The Handmaid's Tale returns to Hulu for it's final season on April 8th. The final episode will be available on May 27. XO, Kitty has two seasons and a third on the way. Throw in one review each with a couple mentions of cute things on Netflix and a whole lot of ranting and this is the whole episode. This is why you don't want to miss it!

Daylight Savings Time has us dragging. Bill got a new tattoo that he's very excited about, which leads to a rather long discussion about tattoos. Bill saw a local high school performance of Mary Poppins. Can you believe he's NEVER seen the movie!? We urge you to support your local artists and performers.

This week Pattie has a docuseries that isn't for everyone. Bill isn't fond of Eli Manning's latest show. There are also reviews of some not so great shows and a movie that is all genres in one.
The Oscars were last night, did you watch? Do you care? As we all know Bill used to LOVE the Oscars, not so much anymore.

Pattie watched a bunch of stuff for this week's episode. Bill, however, did not. He didn't watch a darned thing. But he does have a couple of news stories that has him wondering if everyone else is as burnt out on reboots, remakes, sequels to beloved movie and TV franchises as we are. What do you say?

Bill and Pattie want to know: Do you go to the theater for the shared experience, or would you prefer to be the only one in the place? An article in the New York Times about the annoyance of inappropriate laughter at the theater is what inspired this discussion. Don't worry, this episode isn't only the discussion, we do bring a few reviews too.

Bill has returned with a tirade. But we've still managed to watch some great stuff that we highly recommend. Including a great thriller by Bong Joon-ho, a fantastic new mystery series on Hulu, a couple of documentaries , and more! It's time to watch something fun as we leave that eternal month of January.

WE'RE BACK! After another week off we've returned. And just in time for the holidays. This week we've found some incredibly disappointing stuff as well as a couple of heartwarming family movies. Pattie revisits a couple of past reviews and she's finally seen Wicked, and has quite the tale. Bill asks, "What makes a movie a Christmas movie?" Does it need to have Santa? Should there be a magical element? What are your thoughts?
Have a great holiday, we'll see you next week!

This week Friend of the Pod, Dave, shared an article with us about how streamers are over-feeding and starving audiences at the same time. There's so much out there, but none of it is that great. Bill asks, if the streaming services went back to the old model of releasing the big movies in the summer, fall, holiday season, Oscar season, etc. where they put their budgets into a big blockbuster kind of movie vs spreading budgets for a larger variety of mediocre crap, would that make a difference and would audiences respond to that better? This would include moving all new TV series to the fall premieres like they used to when there was only network television. What do you think? Would that be better than the constant release of crap? How do you find out about new and upcoming shows when there are so many things and so many streaming services?
We've also got 3 short reviews for you this week.
