A bit of a different topic today, but one I'm incredibly passionate about - my opinions on dating men, as a straight cis woman. This is purely about dating in personal life (not about my clients), and it's such an important facet of many women's lives.
This isn't a comprehensive totality of my views - I would have to talk for a few hours to get everything out! I'd love to hear your opinion in the comments and start a conversation.

Today's conversation is full of not just juicy bits about porn, but important lessons for anyone who is even slightly interested in the industry. We discuss what a porn ban would actually look like, how AI effect the adult industry, the role of porn in sex education, and how porn is used as a political pawn.
Noelle Perdue is a writer, producer and porn historian with nearly 10 years of experience working platform side for multiple mainstream and independent adult industry companies. Having written everything from Food Network porn parodies to legally binding terms and conditions, much of her current work explores the blurry borders of obscenity and how pornography's history can influence our digital and political futures.

In 2017, I was given a 5 year ban from the USA - which then turned into a 10 year ban, which then turned into an indefinite ban. I'm giving you the full story on exactly how it happened, and the aftermath I've faced, plus details on how the US border brutally discriminates against sex workers.
*I'd like to note - I meant to mention this in the episode but it slipped my mind - my experience was incredibly privileged as far as US border horror stories go. As a white woman I did not experience nearly the level of discrimination, harassment, and violence that other visitors and immigrants experience every day at the hands of border agents. I am thankful my experience was not worse than it was, and my heart goes out to those experiencing worse injustices.

How has sex work affected my dating life? Having been in and out of the adult industry for 8 years, it's had an impact on all of my serious relationships as an adult. I'm sharing all about my recent ex who hated that I was a sex worker, my current dating life with men who don't have problems with what I do, as well as my overall thoughts on how people tend to discuss dating sex workers. At the end of the episode I respond to an Instagram message from a fan who doesn't want to pay for my services, but hopes to date me for free.

I'm bringing you inside the strip club! I worked as a stripper for around 4 months, and although my time in the club was short, my stories are enough for a lifetime. I kept a detailed diary of all my working nights at the club, and I've never shared it with anyone - until now. I'm reading out the entire diary, which includes some crazy stories (like the former owner falling in love with me because I looked like his dead wife). I'm also giving you entire the low-down on the behind-the-scenes of strip clubs and what it's like to work in this industry.
