In Case 18 of The X-Foils, we're excited to welcome Ronan, a French commercial pilot and avid foiler, along with his oldest son, Mateo. Ronan has been living in Puerto Rico for 25 years and has a wealth of experience in watersports, which he has passed on to his kids.
In this episode, we discuss Ronan's journey in foiling, the joys, and challenges of teaching his kids, and their shared watersports background. Mateo will also be joining our shop team, working 2-3 days a week, and we're thrilled to have him on board.

One of Randy's early interests was prone foiling, a discipline he thought might not be the future, but hit it hard anyway. He's been involved in organizing events for alternative sports like skateboarding and freestyle motocross, contributing to the growth of these communities and help building the ramps, jumps and promote these events that are needed.
Randy's experimentation with "foildrive" before we even knew it was a thing has given him 100s of more waves than us! It would propel him into waves you couldn’t paddle.

Sean lost his left leg below the knee in a forklift accident in 2003 when he was 19. We learn about how he got back into sports and that there is nothing he cannot do. Not only does he do all the disciplines, he absolutely Rips.
Sean is now training and competing in the ISA World Para surf Competition and representing Puerto Rico, working his way to compete in the Paralympics. Thanks to his main sponsor Celligencetech Creators of Angel Ai, nothing is beyond reach.
