For 2024, Emily and Andrea decided to break the year into two halves for our annual forecast. There is a lot of intense energy including the first eclipse season in the first 6 months of the year as we move from solstice to solstice and the days get longer. As a gift to you, we are saving the second half for later so this episode could be under two hours!
We recap the latter part of 2023 and provide our forecast for the first half of 2024 using astrology, tarot, numerology, and the Chinese Zodiac. In numerology, 2023 was an introspective 7 year of re-calibration and spiritual exploration. 2024 is an 8 year, which offers karmic transformation, wisdom and growth as we harness our strength and independence to impact the collective.
2+0+2+4=8
To find your personal year number, add your birthday + the current year (not your birth year). Reduce the sum to a single digit if it isnât already. For example, my birthday is January 4, so it would be:
1+4+2+0+2+4=13 = 1+3=4
Another example - September 23:
9+2+3+2+0+2+4= 222+2=4
One of the general themes for 2024 that we talked about was how art and technology serve as catalysts for change as we move into the Age of Aquarius. The power of humanity and uniting for a purpose will be impactful this year. We may experience a collective shift beginning with a sense of renewal in January, an important transition phase in February, personal power confrontations in March, a chaotic but introspective April, practical idea manifestation in May, and the need to maintain grounding amidst rapid thoughts and actions in June. It's a journey towards resolving long-standing issues and standing firm in the face of chaos.

What does Mercury Retrograde plus Chiron Retrograde plus a Full Moon in Cancer equate to? Capricorn season 2023-2024! I donât know what boys did at slumber parties, but if you were a girl in the 80âs and 90âs chances are you spent the entire night trying to contact dead people! Iâm not kidding! We would literally try to talk to spirits all night, traumatize ourselves and then get up early and go to girl scouts like nothing happened. Weâre talking Full Seances! Weâd dare one another to go into a dark bathroom and say Bloody Mary three times and wait until you saw her face in the mirror - which none of us ever saw because we never stayed in the bathroom long enough. Heaven knows she was probably a really nice lady in Spirit who just got ding-dong-ditched by little shits every single weekend. Sorry Mary!

What's that you say? Hope? Hope without a question mark! No one seems to have escaped the shifting energy that came roaring to life during Leo season. Virgo begins her examination of everything we've accomplished this year just as we end Venus retrograde and kick off Mercury in retrograde. The contemporary connotation of hag is âold woman,â with additional senses of a careless, ugly, or evil appearance. In the Middle Ages, the term referred to a female demon or an evil spirit, but it was originally associated with something much more wonderful.
In this episode, I start a new series diving into the etymology of words that have been used against us. Where do these words come from and how can we embrace the original meanings and take back our power?
While on a wonderful "ladies of woo" retreat in Southern California, I lovingly referred to my weekend companions as some of my favorite hags of all time! I know Andrea and I aren't the only one's saying "this year isn't going quite like I planned." We've faced many challenges the last few years and 2022 certainly came wrapped with a big bow of Hope. The energies have been more likely to feel like you're swinging between two extremes, sometimes all in the same day.
Cancer season is here with the summer solstice and with it, a renewed sense of Hope. A key component to Cancer energy is nostalgia and what better way to find some self-care, soothing energetics than to remember the summers of youth. What is the essence of the relationships and moments you cherish the most? How can you bring more of that into your life?
As we face retrograde season, we'll be driven inward mid-month where we will have some time to reconnect with ourselves, reexamine our goals for the year and make room for some magic! Always make room for magic!

If you survived the Taurus Season eclipse season and Mercury Retrograde then welcome to Gemini season! Andrea and Emily discuss the turbulent waves that came riding in for Taurus, hidden behind the cloak of grounding earth energy. It really forced us both to slow down and re-examine nearly everything. The beginning of Gemini season might feel a little like the resounding waves of a bell thats been rung, but if you are willing to stay true to your course then there are some exceptionally beautiful energies suited for successful outcomes. That breeze you feel? Itâs positive winds in the heavens as Jupiter and Saturn form a gorgeous harmony on June 19th. The planet of expansion and the planet of structure finally shine a light on those of you who might just need some âgood timingâ for all that hard work youâve been doing. With Jupiter is in Taurus for the next year, weâll start feeling a cosmic helping hand reaching out to make those financial ambitions of yours more attainable. Mars begins the month in the fiery sign of Leo where it will encourage us to play, have fun, be creative and take charge. Venus leaves the comfy sign of Cancer and enters Leo too, on June 5th, where sheâll make it easier for us to socialize and meet the right people. Mercury begins the month in practical Taurus, moves into clever Gemini on the 11th and then flies into Cancer by the 26th. Mercury is at home in Gemini and this creates a better than average energy to communicate your wishes and ideas! The best and worst days of the month are all in the same week so ride the waves!

Andrea and Emily dive into Taurus season and talk about the world's fastest and longest month, Aries season, the upcoming Hybrid Eclipse Season in Aries/Scorpio, movie picks to nurture that inner Taurus, and the card pull with cosmic energies for 2023!
Taurus season kicks off on Thursday, April 20th AND the beginning of Mercury Retrograde. The New Moon solar eclipse on April 19th or early 20th (time zone depending) will come in with a flash of fiery Aries energy, but you'll get a giant dose of pump the brakes at the same time. When frustrations run high, remember that we are all in this together! Deep breaths, grace, compassion and a big dose of self care will go a long way. A full moon lunar eclipse in Scorpio on May 5th will bring a culmination to some of your darker patterns and allows you to release back what is no longer serving you. Never fear though, May promises some gorgeous yummy energy that allows you to feel like all this work is going to finally be paying off!

Andrea and Emily dive into Aries season talk about how we braced ourselves for "a win is a win" but in actuality when we reached the end of Pisces season we were "just over it"!
Aries season kicks off on Monday, April 20th and is marked by the Vernal Equinox. As the light returns and we now have more sunlight than darkness, spring pushes forward. A Cardinal sign, the Aries symbol is commonly thought of as a ram's head, but there are also other meanings behind this icon. Emily will share the unique and more common image that we can think of when we look at the Aries glyph. What amazing bravery comes when you say "I AM." Do you fear stagnation? A new moon in Aries on the 21st kicks off the Zodiac new year. What will you be manifesting? We also discuss Pluto moving into Aquarius (this is huge) Mars into Cancer and our first eclipse cycle of the year coming up at the very end of Aries!
