God's justice is something that is often brought up among atheist, agnostics, and skeptics because it can seem that God at times is unfair. Is there validity to these claims and do Christians have good answers for this question?Today we're responding and commenting to a clip that Alex O'Connor put out where he presses Cliff and Stewart on this issue. Enjoy!

With the election results in, people are experiencing waves of emotions ranging from excitement and hope to despair and rage. It is of utmost importance that we as Christians keep our witness safe in the coming weeks. How we respond to this election matters for how people see Christ and that is not a light thing. We need to keep the main things the main thing. Christ is King, and He rules eternally. Presidents are temporary and fickle, while God is permanent and unmoving. Our hope is in Christ and we are called to represent him regardless of who's in charge. In the coming weeks we will have every opportunity to either fall into pride or malice and hate, none are Godly. Today we talk about how to handle the election as a Christian and keep your witness.Enjoy!

In our faith journey, we will go through seasons of "dryness" when our spiritual life doesn't feel as vibrant as it was in past times. Early in your faith walk, these times can be scary, you even wonder if you're still a Christian or if God is close to you. Don't worry. Yes, these seasons can be confusing and even scary at times, but, they're completely normal.
We think that there are two main reasons that dry seasons happen. 1, God may be using them to grow you in your longevity in faith and not be reliant on feelings, or 2, perhaps theres an area in your spiritual life that you've been slacking on and it's causing you some disconnection.
We talk about this and more in todays episode!
Enjoy!

Christianity has changed the world in tremendous ways from the very beginning of its inception. From the creation of the printing press, and thus increased education and therefore better economy, to the raising up of women and marginalized peoples in various capacities, it's hard to argue that Christianity has a negative effect on any nation it touches. Today we talk about those national and historical impacts of Christianity, but also the experiential reality the everyday believer has. Christian have hope in a world where others don't, we have joy because we know our purpose, and reason for being. We have peace because our shame and sins been forgiven. Being a Christian truly is the best. Enjoy!

Yes, we're back with another video exposing gnostic lies. There are so many lies in these viral videos that we could spend thousands of hours deeply going through all of them. However, we only have about an hour every week.Today we're responding to some video put out by a gnostic creator named Morgue who has around 250k followers on instagram and also a ton Youtube as well. A lot of his claims revolve around the church apparently lying, and Jesus' "true" identity being revealed, and that Jesus actually meant for all of us to realize that we are gods and divine and not that we're sinners who need to be forgiven by God through the sacrifice of Jesus. Enjoy!

Lately there have been a few viral reels critiquing charismatic/evangelical worship. Now, we're all for godly critique and accountability. What we're not for is acting like evangelicalism is riddled with tons and tons of bad worship. Again, bad worship is out there, but it's far out numbered by godly, holy, great worship. I think it's just easy to dunk on charismatic and evangelical worship and so people do, when in reality, there isn't as much wrong with it as people say. In this episode we respond to those reels mentioned above and defend worship and fight for unity among Christians. There's enough to deal with in the world, we don't need to also fight with each other about how we worship our Savior. Enjoy!

Evangelism is something that many people don't want to do, or don't feel confident doing. When we say this word images of street preachers pop up or uncomfortable conversations with strangers. Most times people are scared, but also they don't feel equipped or smart enough to engage in sharing their faith with people. So, how can we do evangelism where we are right now, without the awkwardness? Today we talk about sharing our faith with friends, family, and coworkers naturally. After watching this, we believe you'll be inspired, and excited to talk to people about Jesus! Enjoy!

Gnostic lies seem to get a lot of attention on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and pretty much every social media platform. They claim that people "left things out of the Bible" and that they're the source of how to find truth. The truth however, is as simple as they're making things up. All these texts that were left out of the Bible were left out for good reason - they're gnostic heresies or written too far away from the events of scripture to be relied upon. There's good real reason why Christians reject certain views, and it's not to keep control. Christians reject gnostic ideas because they don't align with truth and aren't why God revealed. In this episode, we respond to a few Gnostic videos that have gained attention and show you the truth of the claims. Enjoy!

Divine Command Theory is a broad belief that that morality comes from God's commands. God says don't murder, murder is wrong. God says do love each other, loving people is good. Pretty straight forward, but it does have some things that raise concerns.
What do we do if God used to command one thing, but now commands a different thing. Does that mean morality is changing? How does God decide what to command? There are number of different questions that come up and we try to ask as many as we can in this interview.
Enjoy!

This is a fun question to ponder that actually matters a ton. Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses don't believe that Jesus is God, but they do believe that He died for their sins. For us, there are two questions that are raised when hearing this: 1. Why do you even need Jesus to die for your sins if you can do good works to enter heaven? and 2. How can Jesus' sacrifice apply to humanity if He isn't divine?
Ezekiel tells us that the righteousness of a righteous man will be upon himself. What we believe that means is that a person's righteousness can't be transported onto someone else. With this in mind, it shouldn't be possible that if Jesus was just a man, that his death would help us escape sin. It's possible that they would dismiss this verse and say that they read it differently, so we go into more philosophical arguments for it.
Enjoy!

There are some videos circulating around the internet claiming that "Jesus wasn't nice" and every so often these types of videos pop off. They tap into the part of a lot of men that feels aggressive and longs to be strong - which is good and we need to know that aggression innately isn't evil. But these takes often don't accurately express what maybe the communicator is trying to say. To say Jesus wasn't nice is like saying Jesus was an angry man. Both are wrong. Jesus is nice, yet he had times of appropriate anger. To be nice doesn't mean you're never bothered, or that you dismiss truth. But it seems, that's what people might have in mind when they make these videos. You can stand up for truth without compromising, confront evil, and be nice. They aren't exclusive to each other. Today we look at this idea that Jesus wasn't nice and compare it to scripture. Enjoy!

We don’t love making videos on politics but every now and then we need to. Recently a video of Charlie Kirk doing a Q&A went viral when he doubled down on his point that you cannot be a Christian and vote democrat. Now, this blanket statement has serious problems. A few being that he may adding to the gospel, putting prerequisites on salvation that Jesus doesn’t, and ultimately leading to more division that unity.
With that said, some points he makes are serious things Christians need to consider. Can we say we love Jesus and vote for obviously ungodly policies that promote evil practices? No we cannot. But both parties have policies that ultimately go in this direction. So, what do we do as Christians??That’s what we are getting into on this episode!
Enjoy!

In today's episode we're talking about why we are not Catholic. Some people might think it makes sense to be Catholic because well, before the reformation pretty much every Christian was Catholic. However, that doesn't mean that that's the only way to follow Jesus. We talk about Maryology, transubstantiation, purgatory, and other main Catholics believe that Protestants don't.Enjoy!

Hebrews 6 is one of the most uncomfortable passages in the New Testament. It tells us that if people have tasted the goodness of the Lord and shared in the Holy Spirit, and then gone away, that it's impossible to renew them to repentance. That phrase has lead to many scratching their head, confused, and wondering if this contradicts the loving kindness of the Lord. Is Hebrews 6 talking about the unforgivable sin? Can I be a Christian if I back slide a bit when I was young? Something both of us on this podcast have done. So, are we not saved? Well, to help us answer these questions we invited on Jonathan Spainhour. He's been teaching the Bible now for over ten years, started his own Bible teaching ministry, and has helped thousands process hard questions through scripture. Enjoy!

It seems like everywhere you go, in any church you attend, you're likely to find people who have a problem with how we "do church". And that "we" is anyone in that setting that you find yourself. Whether it's super reformed, charismatic, baptist, or non-denominational (Not catholics and Orthodox though) people have ideas of how to make church "more like Acts". And that was a big trend pre-COVID and in COVID - house churches. House churches have been what many believe to be the right way to do church. But, there's problems with that too. So the big question is, what is the right way to do church? Is it seeker sensitive churches? Is it heavy theologically deep churches? Can we run around in worship and dance or should we remain respectfully and reverently quiet? Is there a right way to do this thing called church? In this epodes we have a great conversation with Pastor Jim Sheldon from Venture, California to discuss this! Enjoy!

The recent attempt to end former President Trump's life and the prophecy from a few months ago calling this almost verbatim has the internet in a frenzy. Shows from all over the political spectrum both Christian and non Christian are looking at this and asking, "Is this a true prophecy?", "Is Trump truly anointed by God to lead this nation?" and, "What does this mean for our nation?"We're releasing this emergency episode to discuss all of this from a cautious and Biblical perspective. We are not trying to come for Brandon Biggs and claim he's a false teacher, we're also not saying this is definitely God's leading. We want to look at this, give any benefit of the doubt we can, and give our best shot at a truthful analysis. Enjoy!Got any questions or topics you’d like to hear about? Alex O"Connor recently went on Chris Williamson's podcast as discussed the topic of a "cultural Christian revival". They talked about has Christianity gone soft, is this a right-wing revival masked by Cultural Christianity, is it right to say you're a Christian if you just live as if it's true but don't believe it to be true, and a ton of other great topics. In this video Derry and I respond to some of the points they make and we weigh in with our reactions and opinions. This was a super fun episode to do and we know you'll love it! Enjoy!

We love Mormons, we want them to go to heaven, but we think they're wrong. Mormons like to sat that they are Christians because they believe in a version of Jesus. However, no Christian denomination would agree with them. Today we are reacting to a few viral Mormon tiktok's/reels. Our goal isn't to dunk on Mormons and have a a "Gotcha!" moment. Rather, it's to analyze different things they are saying and see if they truly hold up to Christian beliefs. We get into topics like the Trinity, deification, Hell, different verses, and other fun topics! Enjoy!

It seems to us, and to possibly a lot of people in at least America, that Christians believe conspiracies more than non-Christians. Or at the very least, that we can be more given to believe them. Some would say that because we believe in a God we can't see and we exercise faith in the super natural every day that we're easily fooled into believing anything. I don' think that's the case. I think the reason Christians maybe believe in conspiracies more than non-Christians is because we believe in a very real Devil who seriously wants to destroy humanity, and he'll do anything he can to that end AND that people in the real world are following Him to see the same. Dark, yes but I would say true as well, and we're not ones to shy away from truth! Today we are talking about this topic of conspiracies and looking at how Christians should engage with them healthily! Enjoy!
