Another episode of This is Stupid Presents: Dinner and a Show! This week, since everybody is talking about it, we figured we would too. Black Panther! Ted, Brocky and Dave discuss the finer points of rhinoceros jousting and just where the hell Wakanda would be on a map. The guys were blown away by the mix of Shakespeare, James Bond and Afro-futurism in this awesome movie by Ryan Coogler, starring Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Bosman, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira and a hell of a lot of other talented actors. So take a swig of your heart-shaped herb potion, commune with your ancestors and hang out with us while we discuss the 106th installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Wakanda forever!

Please join the hosts of This is Stupid's Dinner and a Show for another exciting discussion of movies and grub! This week, Ted and Zach are joined by Dave and Phil to talk about the amazing 80's classic, Blade Runner. The guys dig into the mysterious messages lurking below the surface of Ridley Scott's opus and ponder the meaning of robotic life. They also talk about the delicious Japanese noodle dish known as ramen. Enjoy!

Ted is joined in the new studio by Zach, Jeanette and Natalie to talk about some new-age holistic living tips. We talk about reiki, hypnosis, meditation and other fun, consciousness-expanding things you can do when you learn to stop worrying and embrace the practices of the far East! Ted basically felt like Jack Burton in Big Trouble in Little China the whole time. Just shouting about how he doesn't understand all this wacky Chinese stuff. Upon reflection, the movie is really kind of inappropriate. Oh well, the 80s right? Anyway, let the soothing tones of Natalie and Jeanette's voices lure you into a nice, easily-influenced trance. You're feeling sleepy...

Holy crap. We're back.
This Is Stupid is BACK!
Ted and Nick and Heather just got back from beautiful Las Vegas and they had a crazy time! Nick and Heather decided to take the plunge towards marriage recently and figured it would be a great idea to celebrate appropriately. So they went to watch people take their clothes off in Las Vegas. And gamble! And have a generally funny, sexy time! It was a great time with a good group of friends, and now we're going to listen to the gang go over the highlights (and lowlights). The usual crew is joined by the bitchy robot Louis and our bubbly buddy Ashely.
Enjoy!
(P.S. The audio quality is a little funky on this one, try not to hold it against us, it's been a while.)

Hey Stupidheads! This week, Ted is joined in the studio by Liz and Kevin, both first time guests on the show! This is also our first official This Is Stupid Science Time Corner!
Liz is studying to be a marital/sex therapist, two things that don't necessarily go together. So she has decided to grace the show with her knowledge and pre-professional opinions concerning all kinds of psychological stuff. These shows are going to contain lots of "facts" and "science", so please sit back, enjoy and pretend to learn something so we feel like we didn't totally waste our time. Oh and Kevin helped!
Thanks Kevin!
Stay stupid everybody. Except for those of you in school. Don't be stupid. Do lots of stimulants so you can study hard and grow up to be a mid-level wage slave like the rest of us!
YAY!
Take our sex in your earholes now please.

This is Stupid has crawled back from the abyss, clawing and scraping from the brink of utter extinction, holding a microphone aloft in a trembling hand, ready to bring you, the loyal internet, more amazing and mostly infallible tidbits of complete crap.
You. Are. Welcome.
On this week's show, Ted is joined in the dusty studio by Zach! Zach comes to the show by way of having always wanted to be on a famous podcast. He figured this was a good place to start. Zach and Ted swallow red pills and journey down their respective rabbit holes to explore dystopia, what it means, our favorite examples of the genre, and why it's not actually a real word. Please enjoy!

Ted is joined in the studio by fellow movie enthusiast Charlie Brown to talk about the new Tom Cruise vehicle, Edge of Tomorrow. Horrible title aside, the guys liked it. Tom Cruise is back, baby! Also, nicknames, seafood and the role of strong female characters in a post-feminist society and the challenges posed by redefining gender roles in popular culture.
Most of the calamari you have ever eaten has most likely been, in fact, fried pig anus.
Please enjoy the show.

Ah, camping. The Great Outdoors. The Final Frontier. The Untamed Wilderness. The Heart of Darkness.
The gang lugged the camping gear out to the woods this week and had a great time communing with nature. The learned valuable lessons, like how to fall in a river and how to lull a raging bear into a sense of false security. It was fun!
Since they had such a good time and learned a lot about life, Ted, Nick and Heather decided to share some valuable camping lessons with you, our valued listeners. So pour yourself a tall glass of boiled water, grab some s'mores and come along on the journey.
Also there are shout outs to LeVar Burton and the loveable traitorous scamp, Eddy Snowden.
Hate mail commence!

Hey internet! This week on Dinner and a Show, Ted is joined by three podcast virgins. Mike, Dave and Cody join Ted in the new and improved studio to talk all things X-Men. We all really liked the movie, so unfortunately there is no fighting. But Mike really just wants to talk about hot chicks and Cody is working off a hangover, so there is that. Apologies to Jennifer Lawrence, your body suit didn't look THAT bad. We also talk movie theater concessions, and get pretty much nowhere, because, really, who doesn't like an extra-large popcorn with butter sauce and a gallon of cola. Enjoy!
And what are you doing listening to a podcast, go outside!
Thanks for listening! Comment on the facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/thisisstupidshow!

Dinner and a Show is BACK with a 15 megaton bang! Ted, Amy (of Girl's Night fame) and newcomer Beau sit down at the rectangular round table to to turkey... giant, scaly nuclear fire breathing turkey. After getting our faces melted off by Godzilla and Bryan Cranston's respective cleansing fires, and then stuffing the scabby remains with sushi, we were ready to vomit our opinions on this modern take on the classic kaiju known as Gojira across the waves. We review the film, talk the history of the Kaiju genre, and a brief review and history of SUSHI.
DISCLAIMER: Most of the "facts" given on the show are moderately accurate at best. We love being corrected, please comment on the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/thisisstupidshow with your vitriolic commentary.
Also, HERE BE SPOILERS, listen at your own peril. They start around 20 minutes in. We will warn you.
Please to enjoy, Godzilla.
Also listen for Beau's decreasing sobriety throughout the show, it's a bonus feature.

This week on the show, the gang talks ridesharing. You know, like Uber? Oh, you haven't heard of Uber? It's like an iphone app, you get rides through it... ok how about Lyft? They staple goofy mustaches to the front of their cars and... no? Ok, well listen up because Ted, Nick and Heather are about to educate you! We talk about the history of sharing vehicles, "slugging", and why the practice has become so divisive and controversial.
Sit back, strap in and get ready for another stupid episode.
Please share this episode. We depend on the listeners to get our content circulated, and if you play your cards right, you get a puppy.
Someday. -
This week, we are blinding you with science! Fictional science, that is. The science of science fiction... in layman's terms. A couple of pretty undereducated laymen at that. Nick and Ted sit down in the studio this week to explore the "science" that often crops up in popular fiction, and how silly it tends to be. We recorded this episode on May the 4th, and there were mimosas.
To be fair there are always mimosas.
You're welcome.

Hey out there in the internet jungle!
We here at This Is Stupid would like to bring you a very important message. Never, ever, no matter what you do, no matter what promises they make or ways they threaten, allow a tele-presence robot into your home. Ever.
That having been said, we welcome our robotic masters as they usher in a new era of peace, harmony, and wholesale slaughter of all organic life on Planet Earth.
This has been a pre-recorded message from This Is Stupid.
Stay stupid, meatbags.
(Thanks Louis for contributing to this episode. Sorry we were so mean to you. But honestly, you kind of deserve it. You knew what you were getting into. I mean, really. We are dicks to each other. Poor Heather has to wash the tear-streaked mascara off her face like, three times a show. So quit your bitching.)

We're BACK!
I know you didn't ask for it, but here it is. Freakin' deal with it.
This episode stars Ted, Heather, Kim and Nick and also Ted talking about how to make friends as old people in the modern world! Also Kim and Heather explain how to make friends as young people! We cover all the bases! Also, Ted guest stars as Ted, "Old Creepy Man #2", and Ted, "Confused Lurking Stranger".
Seriously, it's great to be back. The studio shrunk, please excuse the audio, we are still undergoing construction. Pics will be up at some point.
Enjoy! Good Job!

Oh my god did you hear what Becky said about...
Oh, hi Stupidheads! I didn't see you there. This week the gang gets serious and talks confidence and confidentiality. So, please, just don't talk shit about us.
We can't take it.
We are like, legit pussies.

Hey Stupids!
This week, the gang talks moving. Ted is moving on, out of his apartment and on to greener pastures. Literally, his new apartment is called Greener Pastures.
It's probably actually a nursing home, but he got a really great deal.
Nick and Heather are moving into the coat room at One This Is Stupid Plaza, after horrible simultaneous house fires.
Pay attention for some great tips on how to have a successful move, and also how to avoid alternative relationships in the Navy!
Stay stupid everybody.

Stupidheads!
Good afternoon/evening/night! We hope we find you well this week. So Ted invited his old friend Dennis and host of Girl's Night, Kim, on This Is Stupid. This was a great idea because both of them had lots to say about relationship expectations! It was very exciting for everyone, especially Dennis, because he didn't think he would be asked back after the "incident" last time.
There was almost no fighting.
Remember to check your itunes, facebook feed or go straight to the website at www.thisistheblog.com every Wednesday evening for new stupid episodes baked fresh for the holes that you hear into.
Enjoy!
PS! Keep listening for EXTRA SPECIAL BONUS CONTENT after the theme song!

Hey Stupidheads!
This week Ted is joined by Nick and Heather, which is his habit lately. They decided to talk some more about militarv dating this week, and actually managed to get past basic training! Also Heather is not as drunk.
Which makes it much less interesting.
So listen up, maybe you won't learn something.
Stay stupid everybody!

It's official... Ted has finally let Kim take over the show (Kim and the girls locked him in the closet). The girls combined forces to talk about one of the least discussed topics in today's society, but one that affects us the most... insecurities! Kim is feeling a little insecure just thinking about it. The girls decided the best way to tackle this challenging topic was with faces covered in breakfast burritos, pjs, and limited make-up. The challenge being to blame others for their own insecurities! So make sure you listen close to make sure you aren't being blamed for anything.
Also, please write in with your own insecurities!
With love and wine...

So much topic we couldn't fit it into one show!
Hey Stupidheads, this week the gang talks about relationships in the military. We have titled this two-part show "Love in the Military: From Masturbation to Marriage". Drinks are had, drinks are had, and we talk about love in the foxhole!
Not that hole.
Gross.
Enjoy!
