This week on Three Pts Please we are joined by the definition of a driven winner. Someone who has won trophies all throughout his career be it at club level or international level. He was a big part of what some people call the best amateur side there ever was. This week we are joined by Darren ‘Whacker’ Dunne. Darren is definitely one of the best players we’ve seen in the amateur game, being a vital part of the Sheriff Y.C team that won everything, as well as the junior internationals. We join Darren to talk about his career and success, as well as his current role at St Kevin’s and how he has carried his winning mentality into coaching.

We join Barry to talk amateur football as well as his playing career, management and his experience in the junior international setup.

This week on Three Pts Please we are joined by a highly involved and experienced individual, who is currently involved as the head coach of St Kevin’s. This week we are joined by Stephen Costello. Stephen has been involved in the amateur game for a long time, mainly with St Kevin’s, and is steeped in the club’s history having come through the ranks as a teenager before returning as an adult both as a player and a manager. We join Stephen to chat amateur football, as well as his own playing career and experiences.

This week we are joined by Andy McNulty. Andy has been involved in the amateur game as both a player and manager, having success in both. Johnny is someone who has had a massive impact, gaining multiple promotions and winning a league double last season. This week we are joined by Peter Flood. From playing with St.Francis and Bluebell, to managing at the top level with Firhouse Clover, Peter has experienced a lot in the amateur game. Fèileacàin Father's are a group of dads who play football together in memory of their precious children. They act as a support group for one another. We sat down with the lads to discuss how they were founded, each of their different experiences and how they got involved. They are playing their annual charity football match on the 15th of June 2024 in Dublin to celebrate their children's day. This week on ThreePtsPlease it is our final episode of Season 2 before we wrap up for a few weeks. This one is a special one for the referees. This week we are joined by former referee and player of the LSL Brian Tracey. Brian has been involved in the amateur game for a long time, as a player but more predominantly as a referee, having spent over 15 years refereeing games throughout the Leinster Senior League. Brian has seen it all from all levels of the amateur game. We join Brian to discuss his career and experiences as a player and referee. Deano is definitely one of the best strikers we’ve seen play in the amateur game, having spent time with Tolka Rovers and Crumlin United. He is also one of the only players to move straight from amateur football in Ireland, to professional football in England, having joined Oldham Athletic from Crumlin United back in 2010.
