Sorry for the delay between episodes but I am so excited to bring you this chat with Ali!
As many of you might know, she recently discovered she had breast cancer and has gone through treatment, with her husband, family, neighbours and loved ones providing endless love and support.
In this chat, we discuss her cancer journey, how she found out she had it just weeks after moving to Ireland, and how the people she least expected turned up for her.
We also talk TV, being a star in the era of the lads mags and the naughties, that teacher-student affair storyline and why we are both aiming for the small wins from now on.
Ali is the loveliest guest you could hope for, so open, honest and goddamn hilarious!
I hope you enjoy. If you are worried about yourself and anything we discussed, please seek medical help. The Irish Cancer Society have loads of info on cancer.ie, in the UK, try breastcanceruk.org or the helpline closest to you.
And as always, please share with friends and family, leave me a comment on Spotify, rate and review and be kind.
Thanks X

This is truly a brilliant episode.
Cormac, who you may know from Love Island, or from his fitness journey on Instagram, opens up about his addictions and how they nearly killed him.
He talks about how he faked being well to go on Love Island and why he thinks now he shouldn't have been there.
He opens up about his relapses and what it took to get to seek help.
Truly inspiring, and also hopeful, to show there is help out there and light at the end of the tunnel.
TW: There is discussion of suicide. Please seek immediate help if this resonates with you. The Samaritans are a brilliant charity and are available 24/7 on 116 123 on this side of the world. In the US, call 988 and in Australia, 13 11 14 is the number for Lifeline.

Back again this week with another iconic Irish singer and it is the last person to win Eurovision for Ireland!
Eimear Quinn had no plans to get into pop music and the Eurovision Song Contest... and then she went and won it!!
But how did she celebrate? Well tune in to hear and hear what she has to say in reaction to Louis Walsh saying he doesn't see us winning it again!
I hope Eurovision fans love it, and show Eimear some support.
You can see her live at https://www.eimearquinn.com/shows

My guest today is an Irish and a Northern Irish legend!
If you grew up with UTV, there was only one man to introduce the shows, and that was Julian!
He cracked us up with his intros but did you know he was working two jobs at the time?
He also talks the Troubles, living in London and why he never wants to live again outside Ireland.
Please listen, share and rate!!
Thank YOU

I am SO EXCITED for you all to hear this episode!
I was so grateful to get to chat to Shona about her life and career. We talked all things Eastenders- from the storylines, the love interests and the legends that graced the Square.
We also talked about how she got into acting, starting her career as a teen, and leaving to do live theatre, and why hearing Jaysus Christ in an Irish audience made her feel she was doing something right!
And we also talk about how a DM slide can sometimes be a good thing, and lead to love...
Please share, like and subscribe my loves X

Episode is 2 and what a guest!
I have the amazing Joel McKinnon Miller from shows such as Big Love, the Staircase and Brooklyn 99!
We talk so much in this episode, from going from music to acting, working in Irish bars, to the terrifying incident that stopped his career in barwork.
We talk the acting jobs he loved and hated, and we remember the late Andre Braugher.
I hope you will enjoy this, and please subscribe, share, like and comment.
All my love!

I am BACK! That is right, season 6 is here!
I have missed recording weekly for you all so I brought an amazing guest along! The wonderful Glen Power from The Script is here to talk about how he got into music and the band, the highs and lows of being on the road, shunning fame and of course, losing Mark Sheehan last year.
Glen often stayed in the background in the band so it was wonderful to hear his thoughts, his gratitude, his fears and his feelings on so many topics.
This is one that #TheScriptFamily will love but even those who are not huge fans.
Please do share, rate, review, and comment and make sure to follow The Tis Yourself podcast wherever you get your podcasts and on social media.

Gang! We haven't had a Love Island star in a while, so who better than the woman who made history when she entered the villa?
Tasha was the first person to enter the villa with a cochlear implant, and matched up with Andrew le Page, who is still by her side two years later.
We talk about her journey with hearing, taking time for yourself, shutting out the bad trolls and so much more!
And Tasha tells me about her new book Hits Different!

My last podcast of 2023 is an AMAZING one!
The charming and lovely Bobby Burke called in, from NYC to Dublin to talk building patios, being Bart Bass and Ed Tucker in Gossip Girl and SVU, fighting fires, the charm of a Galway kitchen and so much more.
It is an honour for me to take up so much of his time for a chat, to hear about how Mariska Hargitay made him her onscreen lover in Law and Order, how 9/11 gave him a second job in honour of his friend and why he has never seen Dublin!
I hope you all enjoy, if you do, please rate, share, like, and tell your pals!!
Happy Christmas, Nollaig Shona Duit and I love you all!
