Chances are, if you find yourself reading this, you're not feeling great. I'm sorry, truly...and I can say that, because I have been there (oh, have I). When I was first considering taking Zoloft, I was experiencing severe anxiety, panic attacks at the grocery store, depression, gastrointestinal issues and yeh. Needless to say (but I'll say it anyways), I did not feel good. I needed help. I felt completely paralyzed in the place I found myself and didn't know what to do or who to listen to.
I tried looking for reviews, stories, honest thoughts and feelings from real humans and, while I did come across some helpful information in the form of random Youtube videos, etc, I found that I felt just as confused and alone as I did before. So, I decided then and there that if I did end up going on Zoloft, I would share my own "review", in an effort to fill the gap I had found, at a time in my life when I needed an outstretched hand.
Well! Here I am now, having taken Zoloft for six months, hopefully with words and insight that will give you some peace and support.
In this episode I sit down in front of the mic and tell you my personal experience with Zoloft. I break it all down for ya - Why I Decided to Take It, Side Effects, What Zoloft Did For Me, What I Didn't Like & Where I am Now.
Thanks for being here!
Cheers, Camille

I watched an episode of Brand’s YouTube show...and LOVED it. I think I watched it 5x. He talked all about How To Not Ruin A Relationship. It stuck with me, being rather codependent, and I wanted to share my own thoughts on it.

I was sitting here, not even ready to record a podcast, but I hit ‘record’ and here we are...some things I’ve personally being working through that I think many of you can maybe relate to — letting go, being okay with not doing everything and being everything for everyone all of the time. Cheers, Cams :)

In this episode of Totally Casual Motherhood I talk about my experience with Zoloft. Taking meds was the last thing I wanted to do in order to manage my anxiety and depression, but well...HERE I AM and feeling better. That said, listen to the entire episode...!

“We’re letting you go” is not something you want to hear a MONTH before Christmas, but that’s what my husband was served last year. We were not at all prepared for how tough it was going to be and never guessed that this period would last 6 months (yikes). It definitely proved to be the hardest thing that we, as a couple, have ever had to face to date. Somehow we found a way to army crawl through it all, though!...and I think it came down to 3 important things we had to put into practice (so that we wouldn’t kill each other). I share them all in this episode. Enjoy! Cheers, Camille

I got to sit down with January Donovan, a self-worth strategist and mama to (almost) 7! She coaches women all over the country in developing skillsets that enable them to truly understand who they are, really love themselves and then also to put into place tools that can make it possible for them to SLAY and work towards their dreams...no matter the wounds, setbacks or situations! She discusses why we are held back as women, the power in the messages we send to our brains and that we can actually train our minds to produce more positive thoughts and outcomes. We CAN DREAM and make those dreams come true!

In this episode I lay it all out there (literally. it was like therapy). I get real and honestly chat about how I recently have been dealing with anxiety and self-doubt. In this season of motherhood it can be so hard to "take the bull by the horns", so when I also have trouble managing anxiety and understanding my own worth...things can get tricky. I then managed to wrap up my little therapy session with some concrete ways to manage anxiety & self-doubt - the things I have found to really work, through my own experiences. This entire episode is a kind of "lead in" to the one coming after it, where I sit down and have a conversation with January Donovan, a self-worth coach, who is doing wonders for women all over the place.

This is Part 2 to the Early Motherhood & Friendship Episode. This time around Kallah and I chat about friendship - how important it was to us in those exhausting early days of motherhood, how we’ve cultivated a meaningful relationship through the ups and downs of life and also how we’ve managed to deal with conflict. If you struggle in this area (like we all do), you’ll want to hear this one.

In this episode I introduce you to one of my closest friends, Kallah. She has been there since the beginning of my motherhood journey...and I hers! We sat in the minivan and went down memory lane a bit, talking about our own experiences as new moms (Whoah. That was a while ago), laugh a lot and have a real #totallycasualmotherhood moment. We may have had a drink or two before recording...
