This week's episode involves the return of the Mak(lovesmotorsports)! Mak joins Hannah to chat all things motorsport news, from the ongoing saga that is Carlos' 2025 contract, to Lewis' first podium of the season, to speculations about Prema drivers in Indycar. Oh, and if you thought F1 silly season was entertaining, Indycar silly season will have you questioning if contracts mean anything at all. The new name for our Formula E segment is also debuted, as we prepare to be immersed in the world of electric racing at this weekend's Formula E-Prix races in Portland! If you or a friend need last minute tickets, head over to our new base on FanAmp and let us know your favourite FE driver. Thank you all for being so patient with us as our schedules ramp up for the summer <333

Hannah and Zoe from Fan Behavior F1 pod join the show this week to recap the Canadian Grand Prix (or as Emma coins it, the Lance Stroll Grand Prix). You guessed it! there's a lot to say about Lance this week - from becoming an uncle, to his Tim Hortons (flatbread?) campaign, AND did he really hit the wall of champions?? As expected, we go completely off track and begin the recap by talking about the race result, and end it by discussing George's pole position. All within the recap there's a vocab lesson, a game of trivia and Hannah learns something new. We also continue our partnership with Formula E by doing a rapid recap of their season so far in our second ever edition of 'Watt's Up!' Let us know how you did in Electric Trivia and bonus points if you tell us what your favourite High School Musical is.

Formula E AND the Monaco Grand Prix? Yes you heard us correctly! We are so excited to venture into the world of FE and learn as much as we can before the season ends. But don’t worry, our first love will always be Formula 1 and Charles Leclerc. You didn’t think we were going to just ignore his Monaco win…did you?

The long overdue Indy 500 episode (plus a little bit of Detroit in there). From parking lot troubles to the well deserved hype the spectacle carries to the joy and heartbreak of that final lap - there’s certainly a lot to go over for this episode. Huge shoutout to the friends we met and oh, stay tuned to hear another famous Hannah rant, one that’s also long overdue.
-
Are YOU ready for the Indy 500? We sure are and we’re here to get you prepared for the greatest spectacle in racing!! From Quali to Fast Friday to the race itself, there’s so much to look forward too. We’re also here for your Push to Pass Gate Updates, Imola Track Stats and a lot more off topic conversations (but that’s typical at Track Talk)

If you’re a Lando fan, this weekend was for you. If you’re an Oscar fan, we are so sorry and if you’re a Carlos fan…at least he won best radio messages. If we learned anything from Miami, K Mags is the type of guy you want in your corner also Checo and Emma have very similar driving habits. This episode is all over the place, from popping champagne to finally addressing David’s release from Arrow McLaren, there’s certainly lots to discuss and are you surprised that boy bands is brought up? You shouldn’t be.

What is going on at Red Bull? Will we see an end to their dominance in the near future? What about Williams? Stake F1? So many speculations so little time! Meanwhile things are heating up over in IndyCar as well, thank god for the mannequin breaking some of the tension. There’s never a dull moment in motorsports, and with Miami and the 500 just around the corner we’re more excited than ever.

We weren’t at Long Beach but our bestie Mak (maklovesmotorsport) was! She highlights her favourite parts, the best interactions and some funny encounters. Like us, Mak was introduced to motorsport beacuse of DTS and now does what she can to bring F1 fans over to Indy. We chat about the icon that is Scott Dixon, the difference in penalties between the two series and of course we show the Arrow McLaren drivers some love all while counting down the days until the Indy500!

The Chinese GP came with a few surprising moments, like the literal grass starting on fire and the 180 for Lewis in less than 12 hours. But hey, we enjoyed it just like Charles is enjoying life as a dog dad and a gelato brand owner. If anyone thrived this weekend, it was Zhou, if anyone needs a time out..it’s definitely Lance. And like always we’re still trying to figure out who’s taking that second Red Bull seat next year. Also if you’re a Swiftie, the last 5 minutes of the episode are for you.
-
Shoutout Lance for making the red flag entertaining (to Emma, at least) The Japanese GP was entertaining to say the least but we’re more curious about what the future looks like for motorsports. The 2025 grid? F1 Academy? IndyCar change ups??? We want to know !!!! Also, we’re not letting Sauber fly under the radar this year, we’re keeping an eye on them just like Liam Lawson is keep an eye on Danny’s seat.

What happens when 3 motorsport girlies go to an IndyCar race weekend? A lot of content, a lot of stories and a lot of chaos. From driver interactions to being absolutely starstruck at meeting our idols, it’s safe to say that Track Talk (Hannah, Emma AND Boston) made the most of our time at Thermal Club. We have to thank you, our followers, and IndyCar for making this happen and we hope you enjoy our 1.5 hour long episode of us just trying to convince you to love this series as much as we do. (If Pato and David haven’t convinced you to tune in yet, hopefully this episode will)

FINALLY – the exciting news we’ve been waiting to share! Big things are happening at Track Talk and big things are also happening in Formula E, and by that we mean drama. We can still take a second to appreciate the drivers though. And can we talk about Haas? What do they have in store for next year? We have an Indy and an F1 race this weekend and we get you prepped for both, if you can make it through the dozens of times we get sidetracked. But hey, we’re just girls and also, Lando is just a guy.
-
We're talking two races this weekend! IndyCar season opener and F1 Race 2 in Saudi Arabia! For the 100th time, if you’re not watching Indy you’re missing out on some amazing action and also..who doesn’t love Pato O’Ward? Across the globe, Alpine was Alpine-ing, Haas actually had a good back up plan and don’t talk to Emma about Lance pls. Ollie showed up and showed OFF this weekend (Someone sign him for 2025 or else!!) And finally, for all females in motorsport, fans, creators, employees, we see you, we hear you!

Caitlyn brown: Team Penske’s only female over the wall pit crew mechanic and the first to win the Indy 500 in May of 2023. She’s an iconic, she’s making history, and all she wants to do is win. She chats about her career, her team, the best parts about IndyCar and a little bit about what Josef Newgarden is like in real life. We are so happy to call her a friend and an inspiration as Caitlyn has opened doors for females in motorsport and she she will continue do so, rocking that ponytail the entire time.

The first race of the season was exactly what we expected! Max won, no one knew what to call Stake F1 and Carlos showed us exactly what he can do. Alpine wins an award for creating a bus for the 2024 season (hey at least it isn’t a tractor) and Alex, we just gotta thank you for giving us the best moment of the race - IYKYK. VCARB girlies are fighting, there’s some trouble in paradise over at Red Bull, but hey, we got a Loint! For our Indy Besties, the countdown is officially on for their first race of the season and make sure you keep your eye out for some exciting things happening at Track Talk!

Did episode 1 of DTS season 6 turn you into a Lance fan? Welcome to the club bestie! If you’re not the Live Love Lance train yet, that’s okay too, the year is still early. There are some change ups in our favorite drivers and teams this year, but hey, we’re just girls, we change our mind a lot. We may not have watched all of DTS but we watched enough to know that VCARB is not going to be an easy name to get used to and while we’re at it, we might as well change Stake’s name again too! All that really matters is the season opener is upon us and we are ready take on the record breaking 2024 F1 calendar with all of you!

New rule for 2024: Stay off the bikes. Now that that’s out of the way, we are so excited to have the girls on for a fun F1 Bingo episode and to no ones surprise, we do get sidetracked many times. (We’re just girls, we can’t help it) From 2025 driver theories to who we want/don’t want to see in the paddock we really touch on just about anything that could happen this year. Grab an empty bingo card and create one alongside us to make the most out of this already chaotic season.

So many livery launches and we are HERE for it!! We’re also here for the amount of times Taylor Swift is brought up in the episode (we’re just girls, we’re not sorry about it). A new face makes it onto Crush Tracker and we take it back a little and get nostalgic with some Kim Possible and Cars references thanks to Mr. Valtteri Bottas. The green is bold - so is the fact that they may not even be able to race under the name Stake F1. Lots of opinions and as always, lots of laughs as we continue to prepare for the upcoming season
-
We’re a little late to the game but we’re still going to spend half the episode talking about Lewis to Ferrari along with all of our backless theories on what the future looks like for Mercedes. And don’t think we’ve forgotten about Andretti being denied that 11th spot in Formula 1…we would love to hear Gwen Stefani’s opinions on that. Lastly, we ventured into a new motorsport series this week (well…kind of) it’s definitely safe to say we’re staying more up to date with F1 Academy than we are with Nascar - but we love you Ryan Blaney.
