Not to be confused with the 1936 Frank Capra movie "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town" or the 1939 Frank Capra movie "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington", this 2002 Adam Sandler comedy is one of the many Sandler movies that dominated the early 2000's comedy film industry. Winona Ryder, who is on a bit of a popular decline, practices her comedy chops and keeps up with the hilarious slap stick humor this movie thrives on.

Our main man Travolta is back and he's back with a....nother boring movie.

In a movie where Winona Ryder plays a depressed teenager committed to a mental institution, it's Angelina Jolie who steals the show as the sociopathic girl that "interrupts" Winona's treatment. Jeff, Stuart and special guest Ross Wood had a fun time with this one.

Hey folks! Quick little announcement about this episode. Halfway through recording a lovely two and a half hour episode on The Crucible, a witch came into our studio and casted a spell on our recording gear, making the second half of our episode possessed by the devil and corrupted. We apologize for the distracting audio quality that begins about half-way through the episode but hope you can enjoy Jeff, Stuart and Brian Delisi talking about the amazing performances of The Crucible!

If a movie began showcasing a young girl living in Chile performing supernatural abilities such as telekinesis and clairvoyance, you would think that's what the movie would be about right? Wrong. If that said movie than began hinting at a possibility of a lesbian love affair between a young Meryl Streep and her sister-in-law Glenn Close, you'd think "okay that must be what this movie is about, right?" WRONG! IF YOU THINK THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT HOW A FILM CAN CAST ALL WHITE ACTORS AS CHILEANS AND THE PREJUDICIAL CLASS STRUCTURE OF THE TIME PERIOD.... YOU WOULD BE WRONG!!!
This movie is about the 1973 Chilean Military Coup, but only for the last 30 minutes.
