Life came at Verity hard, but with her biggest inspiration, her mum, by her side Verity decided she had no choice but to ‘pull your socks up and fake it ‘til you make it’. Make it she did, and the fun-loving 20-something now handles crossing timezones, changing shift patterns and irregular mealtimes alongside her condition, living out her dream of travelling the world as cabin crew and making her mum proud with every new flight she boards. And in between the jet lag, Verity also has her sights on completing the Six World Marathon Majors after getting her first medal in London 2024.
