Well. Here we are at the final episode of Untidy. In a glorious celebration of everything Untidy is, has been, and ever will be, we take a trip down memory lane to revisit some of our favourite moments, from Ben the Dentist, the pizza guy, misdirected shower selfies, playground feuds, poo stories, dating disasters, and the great UNO debate that's now part of our legacy ...
We share messages from listeners who have laughed, cried, walked dogs, cooked dinners, raised babies, moved countries, and shared life alongside us over the years.
This episode is a celebration of friendship, community, and the joy of finding people who you know are your people.
Thank you for listening, for sharing your stories, and for letting us be part of your lives. Untidy the podcast may be ending, but once Untidy, always Untidy. Take care out there!

Hannah and Matty xxx

This week on Untidy, there are still plenty of laughs, but this one's a rollercoaster, and we've got some big topics to cover.
Bean shares the heartbreaking loss of her beloved dog Duchess, who stood beside her through some of life’s hardest seasons, and reflects on the grief and gratitude that come with saying goodbye to a member of the family.
Matty has a wholesome family holiday to the Gold Coast, complete with some literal rollercoaster revelations. Then, all of us at Untidy have some big news to share.
After five years of living and breathing Untidy, more than 200 episodes, countless laughs, tears, overshares, awards, live events, weird tangents, and one incredible community, it's time to bring Untidy to a close.
There's no drama. No scandal. No secret feud. No tea at all (sorry to disappoint). Just Matty and Bean recognising that this beautiful thing has reached its natural conclusion.
In this episode, we reflect on what Untidy has meant to us and the whānau that has formed around it.
We're not quite finished yet. This isn't the final word. We want that to come from all of you, to be part of the final recordings. Send us your voice notes, favourite moments, memories, or messages so we can celebrate this perfectly untidy journey together.
Thank you for being here.

This week on Untidy, Hannah and Matty are joined by sisters Rosa Power and Margo Flanagan, the duo behind Two Raw Sisters, known and loved for their cookbooks and recipes, workshops, podcast and their Two Raw Sisters app. They're all about helping people bring 'confidence to their kitchens through time-saving recipes and food that fits their lives.'
They chat about food, health, burnout, body image, motherhood, chronic fatigue, and why so many people feel overwhelmed by modern wellness culture.
Rosa shares her experience as a high-performance athlete whose pursuit of success led to an eating disorder and RED-S, while Margo opens up about spending years bedridden with chronic fatigue and the path that helped her recover. Together, they explain how those experiences shaped the philosophy behind Two Raw Sisters and their systems that are helping to change lives.
The conversation also explores feeding picky children, managing decision fatigue, nourishing yourself while caring for everyone else, and the genius concept of being "intelligently lazy".
For anyone who has ever felt exhausted by wellness advice, struggled to prioritise their own nutrition, or wondered how healthy eating can fit into a busy life, this episode offers practical, realistic insights.

In this episode of Untidy, Matty reports in live and literally on the ground as she hits the renovation pinch-point, Hannah’s under the weather and leaning heavily on the remedial qualities of Robitussin, insufficient sympathy, and homemade soup.
The girls share a listener’s horrifying wine story, and a workaround for avoiding auto-playing your questionable audio choices in the car. Hannah shares a wholesome interaction and faces the dawning of a monosyllabic adolescent.

In this episode of Untidy, Matty finds herself in a playground altercation that escalates beyond what she was prepared for. She’s left rattled and confused about what you’re actually supposed to do in that situation. The girls dissect the situation and come to the obvious and most mature conclusion: we need to form a gang of mums to deal with this riff-raff.
Meanwhile, Hannah admits she’s been cheating and seeks Matty’s views on a moment at the pools that leaves her unsure whether to feel flattered or deeply affronted.
A well-intentioned family experiment that takes a dark turn, and Biddy comes through on her Top 10 health tips!

In this episode of Untidy, Hannah and Matty catch up with Black Ferns legend Stacey Waaka, Olympic gold medallist, World Cup winner, stepmum, and all-round performance powerhouse to talk food, fuel, and feeding busy families.
Stacey gives a glimpse into life at full pace, and how she keeps herself and her whānau nourished through it all. They get into the reality of feeding kids who change their minds daily, the difference between eating for performance and just getting through the day, and why ‘perfect’ eating isn’t the goal.
There’s plenty of food nostalgia as they all revisit the meals that they’ll never forget from childhood, plus practical, no-fuss insights on fueling your body, building sustainable habits, and taking the pressure off mealtimes when life is already a lot.

In this episode of Untidy, Hannah and Matty hit domestic standoffs. Matty faces productivity politics with Optimal Art in opposition, while Hannah reports back from cohabitation life with a bit of dirty laundry on Pilates Partner …
But the gems are in the listener letters this episode. For one Soccer Mum, neurodivergence intercepted best intentions and got her publicly dismissed from the role. Meanwhile, a well-meaning listener gave a carpark stranger a whole lot more than he was bargaining for when an innocent interaction got spicy.

In this episode of Untidy, Hannah and Matty dive between the sheets with somatic sexologist, Melissa Vranjes, to talk about finding your way back from feeling disconnected from yourself, your partner, and your libido, and into the realms of deep, embodied desire. But first, it all begins with a truly harrowing bad sex story ... (Eeek!)
Mel unpacks the “lightbulb moment” that began her journey from performative, disconnected sex into a more embodied, pleasure-led way of relating to her body, and why so many women are still stuck waiting to feel in the mood.
They get into responsive desire, the wonders of “chore play”, the mental load of motherhood, and why “vanilla” sex might actually be doing more heavy lifting than we give it credit for. Mel shares how to reconnect with your body without pressure, how to find your way back after natural seasons of sexual “rest”, and how to actually ask for what you want in the bedroom.
If things have started to feel a little… flatmatey with your partner, consider this a roadmap to finding your way back to deep desire and satisfying, embodied sex. Whoop!!!
As always, thanks for being here. We appreciate the heck out of you!

In this episode of Untidy, Matty dials in from an all-new backdrop as she manages renovation rage. Everyone’s a bit snippy, and mornings are a case of bathrobe orchestration as the girls unpack the relentless “hurry up” phase of parenting, ADHD time blindness, and the inconvenient truth about when to start the day.
Hannah navigates life with her geriatric dog, Duchess, now sitting pretty in her pushchair era. A listener dilemma sends the girls into waiting etiquette, and they tackle a deeply important post-breakup question: who takes the expired spice rack?
Hannah reveals some BIG life news …

Hannah needs to talk about managing the awkward etiquette on phone calls, and the girls might need to make a U-turn on their previous advice on taking a ‘90’s poo’.

In this episode of Untidy, Hannah and Matilda return to the investigation that has gripped the Warkworth community: The Case of the Missing Santa. The (almost qualifiable) Private Investigators are honing in as the case escalates. Matty gets coached by local police, the community Facebook page delivers, and a prime suspect inches closer to their pending interrogation.
A listener gets in touch with their own report on Matty and Art’s scammer, revealing a disturbing pattern of bullsh*t. Plus, Hannah and Matilda conduct a deeply important experiment ... Where do they sit on the spectrum of ‘use by date leniency’?

In this mini-episode of Untidy, Matty and Hannah share highlights of their conversation Zazi Henderson (Zazi Plays @zaziplays) from the episode, ‘Communicating through chaos with Zazi Henderson’. Zazi joined the girls for a refreshingly honest chat about modern parenting and how to do it well while keeping your sanity.
They talk about why getting on the floor matters for language development, phone faces, and how the “flat effect” affects developing communication, the underrated magic of watching your child play, and that you don’t have to be the entertainer to be good at play. Zazi shares easy toy rotation tips, ideas on managing messy play and a grounded approach to respectful parenting, with strategies for holding clear boundaries.
Zazi speaks about what to do when you’re triggered, why repair matters most while perfection is irrelevant, and how to find acceptance and compassion in the impossible juggle that is modern parenting.
This mini ep is full of realistic, practical wisdom, deep reassurance, and easy ideas to implement at home.
