I completely understand, especially if you are working to make ends meet. There is nothing wrong with working hard, even if it is two jobs. It is important, however, that we make time for rest. Are you consulting God in your decision to work hard? Have you considered that He knows exactly what your circumstances are and what you need to earn to make ends meet?
The truth is, that without proper rest, your body, your mind, and even your faith and relationship with God can suffer. Often we decide what we need to do in our work without consulting the One who knows about every detail of your situation. If you are working and striving and pushing your way through each day, I invite you to bring your circumstances to God and ask Him if you are aligned with His plans - and if not, to show you the way to rest.

Do you ever think to yourself:
"Honestly, I show up at work to do my job and when it is time to clock out - Iām out. I really donāt have time to figure out ways I can serve God at work." Yes you do. God is fully aware of your schedule and your tasks. He knows exactly how long it will take you to get something done and He even knows the expectations from your boss. He also knows what He has planted in you and how you may serve Him at your job. Maybe there is someone who has been crying out to Him and you will be the one who answers on His behalf. Maybe there is someone who needs some kindness right now and you are the one to give it - even if you never see them again. The truth is that the workplace has an abundance of opportunities to serve God and be a part of Him fulfilling His purpose. If you really think you canāt serve God at your job, I want you to ask Him today. Expect Him to reveal opportunities you hadnāt even considered.
