She works as a Circular Impact Officer and spokesperson of the Swedish circular economy network Cradlenet, and is also one of the co-founders of the Nordic Circular Hotspot, a collaboration platform for accelerating circular economy in the region. She has also recently become a Founding Member of the Circular Economy Coalition - an international coalition of value-aligned individuals and organisations collectively advancing the circular economy through shared tools and resources, bridging the Global North and Global South.

In this informative conversation Alexandra chats to Tom Dawkins from StartSomeGood and LendForGood. StartSomeGood is a social enterprise which helps people design, launch and grow social impact projects, and LendForGood, a new crowd-lending platform for impact enterprises.
StartSomeGood provides fundraising and community infrastructure for social entrepreneurs and designs and delivers impact accelerators and capacity-building programs for partners including Optus, ING, the United Nations Development Program and the City of Sydney.
Tom is the host of the Good Hustle social enterprise design course, which has graduated over 200 social enterprise founders. The goal is to give emerging social entrepreneurs the skills they need to successfully launch and run their impact businesses, including the strength of purpose and resilience to survive the ups and downs of the entrepreneurial journey.
Tom was previously the founder of youth non-profit Vibewire, the first Digital Communications Director for Ashoka in Washington DC, the founding Program Director of the Australian Changemakers Festival and a founding Director of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW and the ACT (SECNA). He is currently a Director of the Centre for Social Impact.
In this conversation we talk about impactful investing, the concept of the missing middle in business, the very interesting concept that we as humans have a hard time keeping both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations in mind simultaneously, which explains the reason why it is easier to get pro bono work than low bono, and the importance of purposeful parenting.

Jakob TrollbÀck is the main architect behind the language and visual identity of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, launched in 2015. He is also one of the initiators of the Inner Development Goals, a framework of individual skills and qualities needed to accelerate the work toward Agenda 2030.
Jakob has a branding agency in New York and founded The New Division in 2017, a communication agency in Stockholm that makes complexity easier to understand with simple, smart, and beautiful communication. The team is currently working on the new UN framework for biodiversity.
In this conversation we talk about things such as why all our best ideas come in the shower, but also how we are all part of biodiversity. As well as the impact of artist Jenny Holzerâs sign from 1982 that said âProtect Me From What I Wantâ and the story of how Jakob together with Richard Curtis (yes the fabulous British screen writer that wrote films such as Love Actually, Four Weddings and A Funeral, and Bridget Jonesâs Diary) approached the development of the SDGs together.

Imagine if every kid had the opportunity to act on their dreams. A world where someone saw them, believed in them, and gave them the skills to go after those dreams. In this podcast episode, Alexandra chats with Paul Dreisbach from Petrichor, an organization in Cameroon building capacity, framework, and models of sustainable growth through football.
Paul has worked with partners like LaLiga, Liverpool FC, SoCal, Portland Timbers, Nike, and Adidas through his consultancy work mainly in the space where sport, purpose & profitability meet.
Tune in and get insights on the world of sports, how it provides opportunities for kids from all different backgrounds, and the difficulties of getting the support, funding, and sponsorship for womenâs football. We also talk about the challenges of recognizing privilege and how to help solve problems that you historically were part of creating. As well as how perhaps we can't change our biases but what we can do is to try and not act from them.
Finally, we discuss how society plays such a big role in what we deem risky and not. Many of us dive headfirst into marriage (said to have a 50% success rate) but spend our entire life building up the courage to make small steps towards a dream like changing careers or building a business. Kind of crazy!

What if you started an accidental business birthed from you trying to live as sustainable as possible? Inspiration is underrated and we impact people around us more than we think. In this podcast episode, Alexandra chats with Lisa Booth from Booken Blend. Lisa is a mother of 4, with over 20 years of experience in home and community sustainability projects and has a strong belief in grassroots movements and their true ability to drive positive change.
In 2016, Lisa & her husband designed and constructed an off-grid home infused with passive design principles and built on a modest budget. Their home sparked such a widespread curiosity and interest that it led Lisa to establish Booken Blend, a resource for everyday folks wanting to build purposeful, eco-friendly homes on a budget.
Tune in and get insights on some truly simple ways that we can build or remodel our homes in a low impact way, the importance of seeing our homes as ecosystems, and how innovative we can get as humans when we are pushed beyond our comfort zones.

âItâs a good causeâŠor is it?âIs a charity worth supporting if it continues to exist perpetually? When does a charity ever end? In this podcast episode, Alexandra chats with Weh Yeoh about the social impact work he has done for close to two decades in his home country of Australia and internationally, and of course the journey of writing his first book âRedundant Charities.â He is the founder of OIC Cambodia, an initiative that aims to establish speech therapy as a profession in Cambodia.
He started OIC in 2013, and handed over leadership to a local Cambodian team in 2017. He has since co-founded Umbo, a social enterprise bridging the gap for rural Australians to access allied health services. Weh has also volunteered trying to help people with disabilities in Vietnam, interned in India, studied Mandarin in Beijing, and milked yaks in Mongolia.
Tune in and get insights on his personal story being brought up by parents from Malaysia and great grandparents from China, his take on what he thinks the charity sector could do better, and the three great tips he gives on how he works on making sure he separates his work identity from his personal identity.
Finally, Weh gives us the nugget to try and do one thing differently: When we see a problem we are moved to act by compassion and emotion. When we decide what to do next there is a little moment between reaction to action and that is when the rational side of a human being needs to come in. It can't be about doing something just to do something.

Is the narrative we hear on climate change rather one sided? Should we lend the mic to the people mainly affected by the climate crisis? However, could it be more beneficial to us all if we spread the word on climate optimism rather than using the word crisis? In this podcast episode, Alexandra chats with Shoummo & Maesha from Green & Beyond Mag about how they started their multimedia platform in their native Bangladesh. How Green & Beyond Mag came before they actually got married and the ups & downs on that journey. The couple talks about how Bangladesh was the first country (in 2009) to submit their goals to the United Nations regarding the climate action plan and how South Asians are expected to lose five years from their life expectancy if current high pollution levels persist.
