Every once in awhile out hosts will pick a theme based around a specific movie or series (Wellington Paranormal), only to find out said movie or series is not available (Wellington Paranormal). As a result of that we get to this episode of SciFi/Horror Comedy, which gave us a few surprises (Not Wellington Paranormal). This month we discuss influencer culture with the 2020 film Spree, we talk alcoholism and destruction with the 2016 film Colossal, and we share a bit of nostalgia and confusion in how to review with the 1997 episode of MST3K, The Undead.

While not every movie of his was as great as The Princess Bride or Spinal Tap. He did have quite a way with movies that almost everyone copied, and as they say, the best form of flattery is imitation. The films we picked for this episode are, The Sure Thing, North, and Ghosts of Mississippi. So come along as we explore bits of his career and what makes him so admirable.

We love a good tear jerker here at WGS, we just didn't plan for 3 in a row! This episode features a very good friend of ours, Nora! Long time listener, Long time disappointed in us. Two deal with an organization unwilling to accept its flaws, that have caused travesties resulting in manipulated bloodlines and the eradication of entire lineages. The other has a robot.

A month of reliably superb films by Studio Ghibli. Much needed after the Dumpuary beating we took. We are officially announcing Studio Ghibli month. One month of the year we will hit the streams and pan out 3 Ghibli films that we have not yet seen until we have completed the catalog. This year we have three from the three different decades. All full of magic. All full of story. Pixar may be for the heart but Studio Ghibli is for the soul. I know at times we may be obnoxious, and loud, and crude. But when it comes to film we watch with our hearts and our souls.
And anyways, its better to be a pig, than a fascist.

January has historically been the month that studios release the movies that...didnt test so well. This month we have got two shining examples of that. Yes! Only two, you may have noticed. Unfortunately, the comedic gem that is "Codename: The Cleaner" was dumped from streaming before we could hate watch it. Good news is theres plenty of bad with the other picks.

In our latest Christmas Special, the boys take a deep dive into the nitty gritty of Christmas. They're no Angels With Filthy Souls, but they're gems none the less. We eventually get to the point of what truly makes a good Christmas Noir, but not without a good old fashioned Marry, F***, Kill.
