Derry is a city full of stories, and Christopher's is certainly one of them.
As the owner of Ferry Clever, Christopher has built a business that perfectly blends his own creativity and sense of humour with the wit, warmth, and unique character of Derry. His shop, located in the heart of the city, has become much more than a card shop - it’s a place filled with laughter, local pride, and the kind of storytelling that leaves people feeling better than when they walked in.
Warm, honest, and refreshingly down-to-earth, Christopher talks about his journey to becoming the owner of one of Derry's most unique businesses. He reflects on the challenges of social media, the realities of being self-employed and the joy he finds in telling the stories of local people through his much-loved videos.
A warm, funny and inspiring conversation about creativity, community and finding your own way.
This is Christopher's story.

At 28 years old, Ala was living with his family in Aden, Yemen, when he was forced to flee—for his safety and for the chance to build a new life.
Yemen, located at the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, is bordered by Saudi Arabia, Oman, and has been described as a breathtaking coastline along the Arabian and Red Seas. Yet, since 2014, Yemen has been devastated by conflict.
Nine years of war has resulted in a major humanitarian crisis. Over 4 million Yemenis are internally displaced, 17 million face food insecurity, and millions - especially women and children - suffer from malnutrition.
This is Ala's story.
Thank you to Ala for sharing his story, and the North West Migrants Forum for your help. https://nwmf.org.uk/
