I didn't even mention in the episode that there's these adorable "we'll be right back after these messages" style cards after stages in this game, to transition back to the real world. It's so dumb. I love it.

One day to play, one day to record, one day to edit. Would that all my episodes were produced this fast. Alas, this one's an exception because it smol.

Happy 50th Episode! Remember, it's only Glacier Le Cactank if it's from the Cactank region of france. Otherwise it's just Iceberg Cactus.

These games take longer and longer to play and get longer and longer episodes. Looking back, trying to do an episode every two weeks was absolutely not going to happen forever, but at least I'm (currently) maintaining that one per month!
Oh, and the Phantom & Legend of Network patches are out! I'm excited to get to them... eventually. Forgive me for needing a break after... this.

Recently, efforts by a team of Mega Man fans managed to recover and preserve a number of small cellphone games released in the era of the flip phone. While some of them are large enough to deserve their own episodes in the future, today we're tackling six(!) of the smaller ones.

Reeeeeally stretching the definition of Mega Man game on this one, but its april fools (and the real joke is my ability to consistently upload) and so I can do what I want. Anyway, what's in the episode? Listen to find out!

It's still the first monday of the month on wednesday, right? ...Anyway this episode was way longer than I expected it to be.

Happy new year, and happy realising-a-month-late-three year anniversary of the 'cast! Also, happy preservation of several lost Mega Man games, which I won't touch on in this episode, but hey, that's cool!

I would make a joke about drillman beating me black and blue but that doesn't work so well with the english version names.

Happy Halloween! Have this nightmare! ("well actually", nightmare was the theme of X6, but if you know anything about the X series and its perceived quality, you understand)

Two games, and also some actual news, too, about the Mega Man series, because I spent so long in a combination of depression, summer heat, and big deal video game releases that I kinda just... yeah. Anyway, for now, let's get back to Mega-ing some Men!

I mention it in-episode, but not only is this my longest episode yet (I think), but all the postgame-related stuff will be half of the next episode. Game Big! And so's my love for it.

When the SNES released, Capcom went "no, we have to make Mega Man more serious and edgy and dark". Then the GBA released and Capcom went "hey that worked once, let's do it again!"

I initially had one plan for this episode, then something extremely unexpected happened. Minecraft, specifically. So join me as I tackle a Minecraft x Mega Man crossover - and then explore the results when fans take an entirely different game's engine to create a brand new Mega Man experience!

It occured to me right as I went to write this episode summary that the rescue mechanic poses a very real threat to the player's mental stability, which I could argue is a core objective of horror games, and which would certainly fit how this game is a (mostly) horrific experience.

Thinking about it, calling something 'Xtreme' - specifically without the e - is one of the most 90s things I can think of, so it's kind of funny that these games were released in the current millenium.

It's not as great as it sounds. Unless "surprise there was a third edutainment game, this time with the Mega Man Legends license" sounds great to you. In which case, well, there's no accounting for taste.

Happy two year anniversary, here's an episode that was recorded... eight months ago. Whoops! Come dive into the spinoff that became a phenomenon with the Real Time Tactical Deck Building Action JRPG Saturday Morning Anime set in a very 80s to 90s image of the internet, despite being a 2001 game.

The next episode is taking its sweet time, because Battle Network is not exactly a small undertaking to talk about. So please enjoy this bonus slash filler episode discussing what makes a good weapon in the Mega Man games.

I had never played Legends 2. Now that I have, I both understand the desire for Legends 3, and also appear to have yet another over an hour long episode again!
