Modern day Blacksmith, Will Steed joins us on this episode! Will runs The Forge Co. which is an artisan blacksmith shop where Will forges unique items from gates and handrails to custom art pieces.
Will also teaches classes that introduces people to the world of Blacksmithing. On this episode we dig into the process of creating custom knives and forged art, the tools of the trade and some of the projects that Will is working on.

Rick Zroback and Greg Hore stop by for a chat about rivers!
Rick is the author of the book Twenty-First Century Voyageur and has paddled down 110 rivers throughout the northern rockies and around the world. Greg has been paddling in kayaks and canoes for decades and loves searching for white-water rapids.

World renowned log home builder, Mark Deagle, joins us for this episode! Mark is based in the Hinton area and has built over 200 log structures throughout Alberta, British Columbia and around the world!
Mark talks about getting started building custom log homes and how his passion is still as strong as it was when he began over 46 years ago. We also chat about some of his favourite builds, building log cabins in remote areas and the intricacies of designing and constructing custom log homes.

Margaret Schultz, the Operations and Programming Manager for the Northern Rockies Museum of Culture and Heritage, joins us on this episode! Margarets' passion for history shines through and she tells us about some of the great things that are happening at the Museum.

Rick Zroback, the author of the book "Twenty-First Century Voyageur" joins us on this episode as we dig into the world of voyageur canoeing!
Rick's energy is infectious as he tells us stories of traveling on voyageur canoes over 3300 kilometers from Rocky Mountain House to Old Fort William in Northwestern Ontario along the historic David Thompson route. His paddling adventures has taken him from Oregon to Ontario and from British Columbia to the Northwest Territories. At 76 years old, Rick is already preparing for his next canoe adventure!
We also dig into some of the best rivers to explore in the Northern Rockies and Scott Sunderwald helps provide some inspiration and ideas for beginners to get out and enjoy the rivers.
