It can be hard to invest money into a retreat when your mind is telling you, ‘I could go on a holiday for this money,’ ‘Is it really worth it?’ etc… but Carla wanted to share her experience at the retreat she attended in Wales over the weekend and the changes she’ll be making in her life as a result of this.
Carla FINALLY had a much-needed cry, had time to process the grief that was being held in her body, and gave herself space to reflect on her career, relationships, and how she was living day to day.
So if you’ve been wondering what really happens on a retreat and if it’s really worth it, give this episode a listen.

JOIN CONNECT TO SELF- https://www.carlamcgreevy.com/connect-to-self
In this week’s episode, Carla discusses a topic so many of us can relate to—dating emotionally unavailable men. Sharing her own experiences, she looks at why we keep finding ourselves in these patterns, how our core beliefs shape the relationships we choose, and what’s really going on underneath all of this.
Carla also chats about the resistance that comes with doing inner work, what she’s learned from over a decade of healing, and the connection between our inner child and the choices we make as adults.
She shares how humour can really help you to heal and why unprocessed trauma often pushes us to stay busy instead of allowing ourselves to just be.

Healing can feel scary, and it’s definitely not easy. It’s a long process, but it’s one that will truly set you free and allow you to be your authentic self.
Today, Carla is discussing one of the biggest challenges on the healing journey: resistance.
Healing isn’t a straightforward path, and resistance can show up in so many different ways.
Carla is probably one of the most resistant people to healing, so she fully understands why you might be too.
But ultimately, if you’re looking to experience more love, more joy, more pleasure, more play, and a more abundant life, you need to break through this resistance in order to heal.
