A Confluence of Witches aims to highlight how witchcraft has always been a diverse, constantly evolving, culturally specific practice with many lineages and rich traditions. Cressida Stone, author of Secrets of Santa Muerte, is an English writer. The author leads a double life as a British doctor of anthropology trained in classic methods at the University of Oxford, while also moving in occult circles as Cressida Stone, publishing grimoires on Santa Muerte, practicing witchcraft, and reading tarot cards for the wealthy elite, the disenfranchised, and sicarios alike. She believes it is our right as humans to be vibrantly healthy, that if given the right tools our body knows how to heal, and that each of us is responsible for ourselves and the love, joy, and spiritual and physical health we experience. Jane grew up in rural Idaho as the second of fourteen kids. She has two grown sons and two grandchildren. She lives in Salt Lake City and enjoys hiking all over the mountains of Utah.
Brian R. Christensen is Janeâs younger son and has worked with her professionally for eight years. He has spent hundreds of hours wildcrafting plants in the US Mountain West, notably Lomatium. Brian has a deep love and wisdom for herbs and healing plants. He loves to be with his dog and fiancĂ©e in nature, watch football, lift weights, play guitar, and cook up delicious food in the kitchen. Brian was born in a military hospital in Fort Campbell, KY, has lived in Germany and in Northern and Southern California, and currently resides in beautiful Salt Lake City.

Nathan King is a Michigan based Witch, Occultist, psychic and High Priest (Minos) of the Minoan Brotherhood Tradition. He spent a good deal of his magical life being trained in historic Salem, Massachusetts. He has been featured on SYFY and Travel Channel during his time in witch-city, and has worked with several shops and events within his field. Nathan is also a practitioner of Folkloric Witchcraft and carries a deep passion for spiritual contact and pagan spirituality as a living art form. Nathan is an active ritualist and workshop lecturer at several events throughout the Midwest as well as being a theater enthusiast and animal lover.

An apothecarist and wortcunner, Kamden S. Cornell has an avid love for plants of all kinds. As a bioregional animist and folk witch, they specialize in using the plants around them for their herbal and magical craft. As a non-binary, gay, queer, the outsider perspective is important to them and they are deeply drawn to invasive species, which have been much maligned and persecuted. That working relationship spurred the creation of The Tameless Path: Unleashing the Power of Invasive Plants in Witchcraft.
Kamden also teaches classes on foraging, survival, and field herbalism in the Sandia Mountains east of Albuquerque, NM, as well as classes on tarot, alchemy, and witchcraft practices. They own a small, witchcraft-based business called Heart &Vine Apothecary that focuses on herbal remedies and ritual goods. They are the author of two self-published works- Ars Granorum: The Six Seed Arts of Witchcraft and On Needles and Pins: A Witchesâ Book of Poppetry and Figure Magic. They are also a regular columnist for Noumenia News, the periodical publication released by The Covenant of Hekate.
