One BANGER of a pay preview an overall A review from Brother Pyro. Sad to see that Chase U lost their tag titles to Axiom and Nathan Frazer resulting in an attack from Ridge Holland on the man in charge Andre Chase. TNA X-Division champion Zachary Wentz defeated former friend Wes Lee with a small bit of assistance Trey Miguel after he saved Zarchary from being hit by a steel chair. A very mediocre Women's North American championship bout between Kelani Jordan and Wendy Choo. Tony D'Angelo dug as deep as he could into his bag of tricks but unfortunately it just wasn't enough to take the strap off of Oba Femi. An A+ NXT Women's championship match where Jada Parker showed that even in her short 8 month time frame being with the company she can go toe to toe with one of the best women's champions to date, Roxanne Perez. Our main event showed Trick Williams as our special guest referee counting the 1...2...3 between Ethan Page and Joe Hendry, after the hard hitting bout Pete Dunne attacked Trick Williams leading to a match this Tuesday.

North American Championships are on the line as Oba Femi and Kelani Jordan face challengers in the form of the spooky Wendy Choo and 'The Don' Tony D'Angelo. Best friends turned bitter enemies after Wes Lee turned on former tag team/faction partners Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel, with Trey still out Zachary defends his and his friends honor against a seemingly broken Wes Lee. Roxanne Perez defends against Jada Parker after Parker won the chance to challenge for the title in a gauntlet match. Lastly after defeating Wes Lee and Pete Dunne, TNA's Joe Hendry challenges 'All Ego' Ethan Page for the NXT Championship.

After 27 years WWE has come back to Berlin! Cody Rhodes continues to reign as WWE champion after defeating a very conflicted Kevin Owens. We have crowned NEW Tag Team champions in Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. CM Punk's third strap match ever concludes as he defeated Drew McIntyre and regained his family bracelet in an absolute clinic. The Terror Twins reign supreme over The Judgement Day's Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio after a grueling match, all of us can't wait to see what comes next for the Terror Twins at Bad Blood (in October) when they exact revenge against others who have done them wrong. Lastly in our main event home favorite World Heavyweight champion 'The Ring General' Gunther defeats 'Legend Killer' Randy Orton solidifying his reign as champion and temporarily pausing Orton's quest at becoming a 15 time champion.

Blackpool combat club wins the trios championship with their newest honorary member PAC. From prodigy to champion Mariah May has beaten Toni Storm for the right to call herself AEW Women's World Champion. Will Osprey becomes International champion once again dethroning MJF due an assist by Daniel Garcia. Lastly in our main event Bryan Danielson captures his final world championship as he beat Swerve Strickland for the AEW championship in front of Bryan’s wife and children.

The biggest event of the summer has come and burned down the house! 6 championships on the line, 2 champions reign another day. Opening the show Liv Morgan showed Rhea Ripley that her revenge tour was definitely in it for the long haul as 'Dirty' Dom Mysterio turned his back on Mami planting a kiss on Liv after helping her retain. Bron Breakker got his wrong very much righted after his loss at the previous ppv ending Sami Zayn's reign as champion. LA Knight received his LONG overdue title run as he vested all odds against the conniving Logan Paul. After a valiant effort Bayley was unfortunately crushed not once but twice by the large Queen Nia Jax who is now fully sitting atop the Smackdown women's division. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre tore each other a part in a "normal" one on one bout with special guest referee Seth Rollins, who may or may not have used some discussion to his advantage. The Judgement Day's cracks from earlier in the night imploded the rest of the way when Damien Priest looked to shut up Gunther as he defended his World Heavyweight Championship, Finn Balor made his presence known and made it very clear he blames Priest for his loss at the gold. The night ends with Cody Rhodes, Solo Sikoa Bloodline Rules match where we got to see the return of The Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns as we will happily await for The Bloodline civil war soon to come.

The heat in NXT was definitely turned all the way up as 8 competitors prepared themselves and challenged for championship gold. The heat proved too much for Wes Lee as he fell short to Oba Femi and is no longer able to challenge for the North American Championship, Sol Ruca wiped out as she failed to capture the title off of a red hot Kelani Jordan. Chase U could definitely use a crash course in the superstition of good luck charms after they asked theirs, in the form of Ridge Holland to stay back home as they battled Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the tag team titles. Roxanne Perez proved that she is the face of the Women's divison after defeating another worthy and very skilled opponent in Lola Vice. Lastly 4 men 25% chance at retaining/75% chance of losing; Trick Williams, Ethan Page, Shawn Spears and Je'Von Evans all battle for the NXT Championship. Flowers go out to all the men in this match as they put on one HELL of a clinic! Je'Von Evans even gaining praise from Brother Pyro being the freshest face to wrestling as a whole. Brother Pyro's pick 'All Ego' Ethan Page did pick up the win and is crowned your NEW NXT champion, however Pyro does agree that without the help of Shawn that he does not see Ethan winning the championship.

The opportunity of a lifetime has come and went, two superstars climbed their way to victory leaving 10 competitors in the dust. Drew McIntyre and Tiffany Stratton have sealed their fates and now have their futures in their hands, or at least they both did. During the World Heavyweight Championship match Drew cashed in turning a one on one match into a triple threat match, unfortunately for Drew he came up short and failed to successfully cash in his money in the bank contract due to interference by CM Punk. Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn showed that no matter how red hot and strong you are sometimes the vets just come out on top, we are hoping that Bron Breakker eventually gets another title shot. As you heard Brother Pyro and I are kinda split on our feelings about the main event but we are both excited to see where this takes these 6 men and this ongoing story line.
Sad news comes from the WWE after the IC title match concludes, Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect, The Dr. of Thuganomics, the jean short wearer himself John Cena has announced his retirement; there will be a farewell tour for him that will last from January 2025- December 2025 as we get one more year to say goodbye and thanks to someone who embodied a lot of our childhoods.Support the show

The Forbidden Door was opened and closed after another top tier pay per view. 2 titles changed hands and we crowned a new champion after being vacated. Mercedes Mone is now a double champion for the second time in her career, Tetsuya Niato is bring the IWGP championship back to Japan becoming the 8th and 10th champion to hold it. "Scapegoat" Jack Perry becomes your new TNT champion. An absolute clinic match was put on between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland as they fought tooth and nail for the AEW Championship even having a moment where Ospreay wanted to keep fighting but was all ready pretty rocked.

4 Scottish born superstars come home, each one challenging for a championship; however only 2 of the 4 were able to walk out of Glasgow champions. Congratulations to The Unholy Union Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on capturing the Women's tag team championship. We heard a terrified AJ Stlyes utter the words "I Quit" at the hands of an unhinged Cody Rhodes, after the match we were surprised with a brawl from The Bloodline; coming to Cody's aid none other than Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. The Intercontinental match was not at all how Chad Gable envisioned it to be, none the less Sami Zayn retained his championship, and I believe it was said best on the kick off panel "Chad Gable coached Sami Zayn to beat Gunther because he thought it would be easier to beat Sami than it was to beat Gunther." Unfortunately for Gable it seems as if it may be harder to beat Sami. Piper Niven gave it her all but came up short against the veteran Bayley. Now on to the main event World Heavyweight championship on the line as Scotland's own Drew McIntyre challenged against Damien Priest, as these men fought hard against each other it was ultimately Drew's demons who would come back to haunt him in the form of CM Punk in a ref's shirt. Punk came in to call the match as the original ref was taken out and refused to finish the three count after Drew clearly had the match won. After the "Screw job in Scotland" as commentator Wade Barrett calls it Damien Priest would go on to retain his championship after the original ref was back in the ring.

A very disappointing and underwhelming pay per view, very strange for us here at Wrestling Crossroads to ever say that or even for Brother Pyro to walk away during a show. Congratulations to Oba Femi for retaining his title along with Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Here at Wrestling Crossroads we are all a bit disappointed in the rest of the matches. We believe it was too early for Kelani Jordan and the way that they ended the ladder match was rushed. The Underground match was nothing of what it should've been you could very much tell that the women were holding back with their punches and the ending was just as bogus as the referee stoppage in 2019 in Hell in a Cell between Seth Rollins and The Feind, booking Lola Vice to beat Shayna Baszler was the wrong choice. The main NXT championship matches were very underwhelming and lack luster, Ethan Page and Trick Williams seemed very sloppy and the women’s title match ended the story before it began.

After a grueling 4 hour pay per view we have 2 new champions after 7 champions put their titles on the line. Congratulations to Will Ospreay and Mercades Mone on their new titles. We very well know that nothing is over yet between Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta. As stated on Collision the House of Black will now become the House of Blood since Adam Copeland was the one to dig down a bit deeper into his demons than Malakai. Where does this leave us as Team AEW fell short to Team Elite?
