After War Gundam X episodes 16 (Because I Am Also Human) and 17 (You Must Find Out for Yourself), series director Shinji Takamatsu, series writer Hiroyuki Kawasaki
The year 1996 was the end of seaQuest, but the beginning of Gundam X. About one month after the US saw Weapons of War, Japan saw a 2-part arc about the power of a swim with dolphins to melt away trauma. What was going on in global culture? What is a Newtype, anyway? Is the moon out?

In Syndication returns with a look at something we've done separately, the tabletop game actual play show Six Feats Under (and also designing an RPG)
An unnamed, barely livable world is in the sights of two great empires. Each sends a mech pilot to claim it, in what they expect will be a routine mission. The battles they share will shape their lives, and bend the history of the galaxy to come. What will you bet, and what will be left behind?

seaQuest DSV: The Comic
By DG Chichester, Keith Pollard, and others
Bridger saves lives aboard a family submarine before investigating a new undersea religion in a 4-color take on the seaQuest multimedia launch, in what would turn out to be its only issue. This comic book tie-in ramps up the action, quips, and sex appeal beyond where the show would reach in only the first ish.

seaQuest DSV: The Novel
By Diane Duane and Peter Morwood, based on a script by Rockne S O'Bannon and Tommy Thompson
As seaQuest embarked on its tv journey, the multimedia strategy made port in bookstores as well. This novelization of the premiere episode centers the action in the minds of Captains Bridger and Stark, and has an electric prose in moments of tension. How does it compare to the filmed version that's become so familiar?
