நாம் விலகி இருக்க வேண்டிய 5 Toxic people யார்? Yeppudi - Roy Naveen - Self Development - Motivation
5 People we need to be happy and successful in life - https://youtu.be/op00lsj8YIo Chances are high you’ve encountered a toxic person in your life. You may have even realized this “friend” or family member was no good (kudos to you!), but it can often be hard to distinguish between feelings of love and friendship and feelings of guilt and manipulation. Toxic people are really good at purposefully confusing us. In order to detoxify our lives, we first need to be able to understand and spot a toxic person. They look like everyone else, talk like everyone else, and can even be disguised as your best friend, family member, or partner. Toxic people are master manipulators, skilled liars, and great actors. They can be hiding everywhere. One way to tell you have a toxic person in your life: Every time you encounter or hang out with them, you feel exhausted, emotionally drained, and negative. There’s always something with this person.

Happy women's day - Self love - accept yourself
Yeppudi Tamil - Roy Naveen - Tamil Motivational - Valentines day special Years ago, Malini Jeevarathnam would make jokes about those who identified as gay or transgender. This, she says, was before she confronted the truth - that she was queer. "I used to be attracted to women while growing up, but I never acknowledged it," says the filmmaker. Her main intention, she claims, is to bring focus to the deaths of LGBT persons and their sufferings Malini notes that her film talks about the problems the LGBTQ community faces and does confront serious issues. However, the point of the teaser, she says, was to "make people feel guilty without hurting them" - by reminding them that they haven't allowed these narratives to be told all these years.
Malini points out that the LGBTQ community is invisible even among the marginalised in society: "If a Dalit person has a problem or if a woman undergoes some kind of violence, it's still possible for them to seek out others like them for help or consolation. But for a lesbian woman, a transgender person or anyone from the LGBTQ community, it's so difficult for us to meet someone like us. We have to leave where we live, get into activism and so on. But it's possible that there was someone like me who died in the next street in my village because she was lesbian and I wouldn't have even come to know of it. Coming out is still so difficult." She goes on to say that when she came out to her friends and family, they too opened up to her about others they knew who were gay and their own sexuality. A relative who comes from a rural area, Malini says, was very supportive of her because he had a gay friend who'd died.
However, she has chosen not to show any lesbian women (even with blurred faces) other than a married couple from Kolkata in her film. Malini shares that many women use fake profiles on social media because, ironically, that's the only way they can be honest about who they are and write about what they feel. Many of them have also reached out to her to discuss their problems and feelings. Therefore, instead of first person narratives, Ladies and Gentlewomen has stories gathered from communities, about same sex love and relationships. The point of the film, Malini says, is not to out anyone without their consent but to encourage people to come out themselves.
She further says that she's made a choice not to include the derogatory and humiliating things people say about the LGBTQ community because she wants to be positive in her approach. Ladies and GentleWomen is an attempt to break the silence in the area of comprehending the dynamics of lesbianism .Probably the first move in Tamil scenario , this Documentary aims to dialogue about the conspicuous silence around the body politics and Relationship which is misspelt as social Stigma. challenging the silence emerged from constant fight against Socially accepted identities. With absolutely no response to the suicidal cases, the Social Rejection of lesbianism leads to the documentary sternly projecting the question to the society . " Why the hell , do you care about Someone's love When you dont care a speck about someone's suicide?"
This documentary has received Best Documentary awards at the Norway Tamil Film Festival, nominated for an award at the Pune International Queer Film Festival Out & Loud, and received many other accolades around the world.[6] It has been screening at 11 different international film festivals and has won the Best Documentary award at three of them.[14] In India, the movie has been screen at Chennai International Queer Film Festival, Bangalore Queer Film Festival, Hyderabad chapter of Queer Campus Bangalore and received rave reviews in many other cities.[15] Happy women's day

Continue a Habit for long | Lifelong Habit
Introducing the 2 day rule The 2 day rule is extremely simple in theory, pretty hard in practice, and really hard in the long term. If it was easy, everybody would do it. Here is the rule: never, ever, under any circumstance, skip 2 days of a habit in a row. Unless you’re really sick, or there is something completely out of your control blocking you from practicing your habit, just go and do it. You don’t always have to put in the same time. You don’t always have to do it at the same intensity. You don’t even have to keep it up for 2 days in a row. But you just have to show up and do the work. Let’s take running as an example of a habit you could try to implement for a healthier life: Never ever skip 2 days of running in a row, under any circumstance. If you can’t be bothered, run only 10 mins. If it’s too much, do it for 5 mins. If you’d rather take it easy, walk for 15 mins and run for 15. If that’s too hard, walk 10 and run 5. There is always a way. All you have to do is put your shoes on and go out the door. That’s true with any habit. If you want to write, your shoes are the pen and outside is your notebook (or laptop). And if you can’t write a page, write half a page. If you can’t do that, write 5 lines. If you can’t, write one line every half hour.
Why the 2 day rule is great Consistency is key. Even if you don’t always put in the work at 100% capacity, the simple fact of showing up and doing it will keep the momentum. Plant a lot, harvest a few. It’s the small increments that matter. Put in the work and don’t worry about the results yet, especially when you’re allowed to have a day off. It gets easier. When you go for a run, the beginning is always hard. But we all have a threshold where it starts getting easier, feeling better. You run more lightly, you’re enjoying it. And you would have never gotten that far if you had stopped after 2 minutes. It works really well with keystone habits. Keystone habits generate a ripple effect to other habits in your life. They’re the main drivers of your long-term improvement. By pairing the 2 day rule with a keystone habit, you’ll not only enhance your quality of life in general, but you’ll also make sure it keeps going in the long run. The most common side effects of keystone habits are: eating better, feeling better, sleeping better, feeling more energised throughout the day.

அம்மா சொன்னது உண்மையா? Yeppudi - Tamil - Roy Naveen - Self Development
Our cultures give us a lot of advice about how to find happiness. Science, however, suggests that much of that advice just isn‘t right.
Daniel Gilbert, Harvard professor of psychology and best-selling author of "Stumbling on Happiness," assess his mother's recipe for happiness. "mom was partially right" in suggesting three keys for happiness: marriage, money, and children. "Married people are happier than unmarried people. They are healthier, live longer, have more sex," and do better on nearly every indicator of happiness, Gilbert noted during his lecture titled "Happiness: What Your Mother Didn't Tell You." Gilbert pointed out that the quality of a marriage is, unsurprisingly, closely connected to one's level of happiness. On average, marriage "makes you happier for eight to 15 years," making it a worthwhile "investment," but happiness levels may diminish over time, Gilbert said. Of course, "staying in a bad marriage" makes people unhappy, he said, but people in bad marriages "get much happier after divorce."
Gilbert offered the audience a Cheshire-cat smile before delivering his findings: "Of course money buys happiness," he said. "A little money can buy you a lot of happiness, though a lot of money buys you only a little more happiness." The interplay of money and happiness is subject to diminishing marginal returns, noted Gilbert, who showed a graph revealing a correlation between the two increases at lower income levels and lower returns at higher levels. . He then suggested that people with higher incomes aren't spending their money on the right things. Time spent resting, for example, the dream of so many working people, simply doesn't deliver happiness. "People are happiest when the mind is engaged," Gilbert said, whether talking, creating. "People are happier when they give money away rather than spending it on themselves."
Gilbert then discussed children, mom's last ingredient for happiness. While people might refer to them as "bundles of joy," said Gilbert "they're not a source of happiness." He displayed a bar graph showing that childless adults are much happier than parents. "Once people have kids, there's a downturn in happiness," he said, which isn't reversed until the kids move out. "The only symptom of empty nest syndrome," Gilbert said, chuckling, "is nonstop smiling." So why do people speak so joyously about their children? "Of course we love our kids," said Gilbert. "I never said don't have kids," but the scientific data is tough to refute. Mom's advice on kids may thus leave something to be desired. Gilbert concluded his good-natured deconstruction of mom's happiness formula with a final word: "Maybe your mother doesn't know everything about happiness, but call her anyway." While our mothers never considered backing up their theories of happiness with scientific data, Gilbert put his mom's recipe under a powerful microscope, offering insights, surprises, and plenty of thought-provoking science.

ஃபோகஸ் செய்வது எப்படி? - Yeppudi - Tamil - Roy Naveen - Self Development
Concentration is something you can learn and practice. If someone in your life is struggling with concentration, the first step is to teach them how to concentrate, and the second step is for them to practice it to become better at it. Have empathy and compassion for yourself when learning about concentration. You were probably never taught how to concentrate or how the mind works in school so while you are in the process of learning how to do it, you can’t expect perfection right away. In everyday life, people make the mistake of telling others to focus without acknowledging their lack of training e.g. big companies tell their employees to focus without having taught them how to focus in the first place. Technology is a wonderful tool. Technology itself is not ruining your life, your inability to exercise discipline around the use of your technology is ruining your life.

பயத்திலிருந்து வெளிவருவது எப்படி? Yeppudi - Roy Naveen - Self Development - Motivation
Everything you want is on the other side of the Fear!
Fear is one of the most powerful emotions. It has a very strong effect on your mind and body. Fear can create strong signals of response when we’re in emergencies – for instance, if we are caught in a fire or are being attacked. It can also take effect when you’re faced with non-dangerous events, like exams, public speaking, a new job, a date, or even a party. It’s a natural response to a threat that can be either perceived or real. Anxiety is a word we use for some types of fear that are usually to do with the thought of a threat or something going wrong in the future, rather than right now. Fear and anxiety can last for a short time and then pass, but they can also last much longer and you can get stuck with them.
In some cases they can take over your life, affecting your ability to eat, sleep, concentrate, travel, enjoy life, or even leave the house or go to work or school. This can hold you back from doing things you want or need to do, and it also affects your health. Some people become overwhelmed by fear and want to avoid situations that might make them frightened or anxious. It can be hard to break this cycle, but there are lots of ways to do it. You can learn to feel less fearful and to cope with fear so that it doesn’t stop you from living. #Fear, #Overcomefear, #motivation
