We are back and in ENGLISH this time. In this beautiful episode we meet the wonderful woman Inés José Lòpez. She is a wisdom keeper, a healer and she is a Mixteca medicine woman. She was born into a family of healers and she continues the legacy of her ancestors of the auspicious Oaxaca, Mexico. She works at a spiritual level with Traditional Mexican Medicine and she is also a psychologist in sexuality. She holds ceremonies, rituals and she offers several different healing practices including herbal medicine, acupuncture and Oaxaca massage. She works online and the benefits people receive are evident since the very first day. She also offers guided spiritual tours in Oaxaca taking you on a unique journey visiting sacred places such as places where ancient Mixteco and Zapoteco people used to perform their healing ceremonies.
We feel so blessed and grateful that we got the opportunity to have this conversation with Inés where she shares her story growing up in Mexico, moving to the US and then finding her way back home to her roots and her lineage and at the same time finding the way back to herself.
We talk about spirituality, about finding out who you truly are and how that is a path to true spiritual awakening and happiness. She shares what she does in the world and tells us about the ancient culture and wisdom of the Mixteco people. We talk about women and the challenges women of today face and how we can move through the obstacles. Ines also raises the importance of using all of our senses, not just the sight. We need to feel more, to listen more and use our whole body and get in contact with our whole body. And she sends the important message to us "to become an expert of your own life".
She shares a prayer in the end of the episode which is so beautiful and powerful - you do not want to miss that. It's a true and loving message and prayer to and for us all.
