維吾爾人尼若拉(Nyrola Elimä)現居瑞典,她在2011年烏魯木齊七五事件兩年後到瑞典讀書,就從此沒有再回去。2017年,中共展開對維吾爾人的大規模關押迫害,海外流亡的維吾爾人如何聲援自己家鄉的家人?又承受了哪些壓力與代價?他們是選擇沉默屈服,還是更用力地發聲?她的家人仍活在中共的監控之下,她的表姐,如至少一百萬的維吾爾人一樣,被送到集中營裡。2019年,表姐被指控以資金支持恐怖主義行動,再次被帶走,至今尼若拉仍無法得知表姐的生死。
